Come back and ask after he does.

+1. Although some MIT people are distinguishing themselves already here with their typical lack of anything resembling social skills.

You can tell whether people have social skills from anonymous internet postings? Or are you just assuming people without any talent like yourself automatically have better social skills?

Depends on whether he prefers the Nobel in Economics or Physics. If he prefers Economics then MIT will be fortunate to have him otherwise he should do Princeton the favor. Good luck to MIT and Princeton!

My DS had this exact choice to make 3 years ago, accepted in to MIT EA and then accepted by Harvard, Princeton and Duke in RD. He chose MIT, does not regret. Will be graduating next year. MIT offers advantage of taking courses at Harvard if you choose to ( you do not have to). My DS likes the MIT vibe since he is a 'maker' type of a student and MIT offers plenty of opportunities, ahd he was able to take some courses at Harvard in sophomore year. Overall you can use MIT to your advantage by getting the 'techy' experience as well as 'liberal arts' experience at harvard if you choose to have both.

Exactly! I want a leader, not another great highly trained support staff

Says someone who knows nothing about either school.

Wrong. Kids at both!

My DD got an acceptance from MIT as EA, and is still considering applying to Princeton (heavily into math). She is unsure which one is a better for her if she gets into Princeton as well. Most parents on this forum are suggesting MIT, is that right?

I just bought a lottery ticket.
If I hit jackpot, should I buy Ferrari or Lamborghini
