My DS with high stats applied to Harvard and was deferred. He would like to pursue a math major, has math related awards and research. He is applying to the top places. If he gets into both, which one is better in math, Princeton or MIT?

My DS had this exact choice to make 3 years ago, accepted in to MIT EA and then accepted by Harvard, Princeton and Duke in RD. He chose MIT, does not regret. Will be graduating next year. MIT offers advantage of taking courses at Harvard if you choose to ( you do not have to). My DS likes the MIT vibe since he is a 'maker' type of a student and MIT offers plenty of opportunities, ahd he was able to take some courses at Harvard in sophomore year. Overall you can use MIT to your advantage by getting the 'techy' experience as well as 'liberal arts' experience at harvard if you choose to have both.
