Inflation numbers today are bad.

It means the economy is coming back. I guess the GOP prefers recessions.

Highest number in 39 years. Thanks Brandon!

No, it means there's too much money in the economy.

It means interest rate hikes are coming, which may kneecap the economy.

It means the US will be paying astronomically more in interest on its debt, because Debt:GDP has gotten out of control.

Interest rates should have been raised 5 years ago. But the GOP is only complaining about it now. Hypocrites.

So since economists are so smart about predictions I’m guessing they are billionaires.

That’s not how billionaires are made.

There are tens of thousands of economists, there are at least 30 sitting in my office floor right now.

Just wanted to thank previous posters from an old thread here called something like “it’s the economy stooped”. They were saying how great a time it is to look for a job, economy booming etc.

It encouraged me to go look. In a little over a month just got an offer for a 20% increase in base pay and 33% in total comp (bigger bonus). Thanks for the nudge, and my personal experience was the economy is booming! I was even turning down interviews, easiest job search I ever had!
