Burgundy and gold might be gone as well as it looked like the new colors were red white and blue from the reveal announcement video. I could care less what they’re called as long as they build a consistent winner.

I truly wish they would just keep the Washington Football Team. I realize they can't trademark it and that's a problem for selling merch, but it's so minimalist and straightforward and I really like it.

Nationals sounded lame at first but turned out to be pretty cool to me and presidents as mascots was perfect. Cleveland Indians are now the Guardians which sounds half-baked.

My guess is since Danny boy likes the big splash they'll come up with something pretty unique

I think both are stupid. I like the idea of just WFT or WFC (Washington Football Club). Add a stylized version of the DC flag on the helmet and there you go.
There’s one way though to have a team name that everyone would love-winning.
