Received acceptance letter today. The confusion is we have to make a choice of fulltime level 4 at Mosby Woods vs local fulltime level 4 at Marshall Road. Any experiences?

Also got our letter today. We need to decide level 4 at Wolf Trap vs Louise Archer...

Got ours today also & DS is eligible. Letter is dated 4/30 so not sure why they said they were mailed Weds 4/28.

FWIW, this was a parent referral, not in the screening pool, and we did not submit any outside test scores. I suspect we got in based on high GBRS numbers and strong recommendations from the school.

Good for your DS, do you mind sharing the GBRS score with us? DD is 12, not sure if it's ok or not.

We got our rejction letter today--not sure why since DK had a GIBS of 12 and NNAT of 135. Any idea? He had straight O's.

Seems a bit surprising. What were his Cogat scores?

How were the cogat scores? You should consider getting a WISC score for an appeal.

We got our letter today and DS got accepted. This was a parent referral. DS had 118 in NNAT; 128 in COGAT and 144 in WISC which we submitted. We expected a good GBRS given the feedback we had been getting. He also had excellent grades if that factors into GBRS.

She had 146 in NNAT and 138 COGAT.

We got acceptance letter. NNAT is 140, Cogat is lower with mid 120s. GBRS is 12. He has straight Os for 1st Grade, while his teacher is very strict and he has a lot of S for 2nd Grade. His DRA in 1st Grade is 24 and he was in pull out math lesson in 1st Grade. He's some sort of famous for his math in his grade.

We got an acceptance letter today, too. Wahoo! I wasn't confident. My daughter had one CoGat score that qualified her. We're very excited!

I don't know what the GBRS was. I worked with the school before his file was submitted (met with his teacher, met with the AAP teacher, etc.) but I had not requested a copy of his file - was going to do that if I needed to appeal but fortunately we don't.

ITA -- absolutely consider WISC-IV results for an appeal.

DD got in. 143 in CogAT, 160 in NNAT. Don't know what the GBRS was. We held back on submitting a WISC score (146 FSIQ) in case we needed it for an appeal.
