| Who buys their kid a new car? Big, ugly abs slow is what they need. My DD hit my old 2009 Volvo. |
| A brown four door 1971 Dodge Dart |
My grandmother had one of those! |
| I can't imagine buying a car and not caring about what model of car it was. But, if I genuinely didn't care, I'd go for something with a good warranty like a Hyundai. A coworker of mine had the Elantra. He seemed happy with it. |
Jeeps are not good for beginner drivers. They can easily flip over. to the op: How much do you want to spend? If you drive a lot is comfort a big concern? Fuel economy? safety? I agree you don't have to "care" about cars but, you should think of important features. My dh has a RAV 4 that he likes |
Yeah, it might seem like a good idea to give him an "uncool" vehicle to drive, but there's way too much seating in there for him to not end up hauling everyone everywhere. |
| 1968 GT 500 KR convertible |
| I've had several Toyota Camrys/Corollas and Honda Civics. Reliable as hell |
| The perfect car for someone who doesn't give a sh!t about cars is a Camry or Corolla. Two of the most boring but most reliable cars on the road. |

Mazda's are low to the ground. Did you even read OP's criteria? |
The Mazda CX-5 is in the same category as a Honda CRV. Not low to the ground. |
Op had a fairly long list of criteria for someone who does not care. |
OP here. Thanks to all who responded! This has been helpful. My criteria were: 1. seats 4 2. is comfortable 3. a little higher up |
HRV is SUV Fit. Jumbo shrimp and all. |
