APS - no results yet from beginning of year testing

Ok that is interesting, and thank you, because I'm going to reach out to DC's counselor. The current math teacher is new to the school/VA/middle school and said our kid scored very low to be in an advanced placement math class when compared to last years scores.

I think it is 2000? Well it must be something higher than 1700 because I just double checked the score and it’s over 1700. (It’s actually 1719, who knows where I got 1731 from).

That doesn't make sense. Maybe the bands are "normed" based on BOY and EOY expectations but the actual score shouldn't be "normed".

Hey does anyone who has been there/done that know if these scores translate at all into the SAT verbal? We are not in the 1700 range but still testing multiple levels above grade level, just wondering if there is any correspondence?
