| I don’t like it at all. My kids would classify this as falling in the “try-hard” category. |
| I actually really like it in black for holiday parties. It’s trying too hard for photos. I have a few saloni dresses and will say they run small. I don’t think a 2 will fit |
| Isn’t it way to short? The navy velvet is prettier. |
| Variety makes life fun. OP - If you like the dress, just wear it with confidence and I am sure you will rock it. People dress so boring in this town (me included) and I admire folks who take some risks with their attire. |
Seriously. At 5’6” and 120 you’re hardly a 2. |
| So, I like it. And I would NEVER take fashion advice from this board. Just, no. The recommendations on here are usually lol. |
Im that height and weight and I’m a 2. |
Could someone please post a few “acceptable” dress ideas? We’re doing outdoor family photos. I’m 42, fair, blond hair, 5’6” and 120. |

My issue is that the fabric and construction look cheap. Well, I also don't care for that particular bow pattern, but I could see a similar adornment looking good...so I'm willing to allow that is just a matter of preference. Also the shade of pink is a little too bubbly gummy for my taste, but online photos and skin tone make it hard to know for sure.
But the puckering seams just don't give me confidence that this will fall well. |
| Awful |
I like this one much better. The blue will photograph well. It's also much cheaper and less memorable, so you could wear it again. |
| I really like the Sezane one - it would also be pretty with a tall neutral boot. |
You beat me to it. That’s exactly what I was going to say. |
