I love this for parties, but not for a family picture. |

You know, I was Team Anti-Dress when I saw the original post. But now that I see that people are still talking about it 11 pages and 4 days later, I may have changed my opinion. Clearly you've found something conversation-worthy, which might have been your goal.
So, I change my vote to Yes, provided you can afford it. |
No. My god you women are boring. OP wear your dress and be fabulous and if other folks are bothered then they should have dressed to be fabulous too rather than making sure no one could place what period of time the picture was taken in because they dressed so that the outfit wouldn't age in photos. ::insert eyeroll:: |
I agree. The darker colors I like, but as a blonde the same height and weight as the OP the pink would make me feel like I was in Tinsley Mortimer cosplay. Like you're dressing up to mimic photos of yourself as a little girl or want to look like a doll. Especially as a blonde, I need a bit more gravitas in a look. |
OP here. I appreciate all of the feedback on the dress. We had family pictures today and I went a totally separate route by wearing a sleeveless I already own given the moderate temps. My arms are my best feature so I figured I’d highlight those. I’ll check put the velvet bow options for upcoming holiday parties though! |
| Came back to this thread when I saw a pic of Maya Rudolph hosting SNL (March 2021) wearing this dress in black. So, there you go. |
Kind of settles the flat chested only debate, worn in the right size it doesn't gape, and hangs correctly. Still wish there were pictures of the pink version on someone other than a model.

SO unflattering. Someone in their twenties might be able to pull it off and look cute. For anyone else, the cut,the length, those nasty bows.Just no. |
