Why would TSJ owning Spirit matter to Loudoun Soccer? |
Bledsode and Sullivan will be guesting with FCV in tournaments |
Yep. Of course, put down anything positive about an AA led investment. Who cares where the money comes from? Who is leading this?! |
What exactly are you implying? |
The leaders at TSJ either approached or were approached. Just because the money is from some investment firm or equity group, someone wants to diminish the role of AA in the community. Ridiculous |
And how did you come to that conclusion? |
I think some people - maybe most people - don’t understand the way the Private Equity world works... |
I don’t think most people really care. They want to watch a game and support a product without all the unnecessary stuff. They want to decompress and enjoy themselves. That’s what owners and investors need to worry about. |
Getting a pass to the ECNL would probably benefit TSJ more than anything else, speaking on the youth soccer side. Acquiring both ECNL pass and WS we’ll that would make them a powerhouse. |
| I don't think anyone cares that TSJ purchases or becomes part owner of the Spirit. The elephant in the room is that RB and TT, who are the center of all this NWSL controversy and may end up upending the league, works for or has joined back with FCV, who TSJ owns now. Let the LGBTQ and women's rights get ahold of that story, if the deal actually goes through and you will see this league fold faster than a hot knife through butter. So should be very interesting to see how this plays out. I have my popcorn ready. lol |
How? Makes zero sense. What does Spirt do for FCV? Nothing WhT does FCV do for Spirit? Nothing How does ECNL make FCV for profitable? 600 paying customers is 600 paying customers. Loudouns money in it in the 6 ECNL teams. It’s in the 600 Red - Silver teams. |
I’m sure the PE wouldn’t care about that type of attention…At least FCV has a huge Twitter following! |
Fans all over are already talking about the connection. FCV would be wise to have whatever connection to those two severed. Then the PR blowback won’t be there. |
Plan for the worst and hope for the best. |
| What this does is solidifies fcv's move to Springfield. They're not going to focus on Ashburn anymore with the tsj facility because they're going to want the spirit to practice there so they can market it |
