TSJFCV owning WS would be the final nail in the coffin for Loudoun soccer.
Safe to say Loudoun isn’t going down without a fight. Spring 2020 is still fresh in the books of contemporary NOVA soccer history. The question is how will Loudoun attempt to obliterate this potential purchase? |
Now I'll educate you: Michelle pulled her offer out before St James offer went in. (It says so in the Washington Post) Anyone who has ever played a sport gets to claim they have "invested in the community"? I didn't see any big charity efforts on their parts. They charge a ton of money for TSJ membership. The absolutely know who RB and TT are. Let' s not be silly. TSJ / Washington Spirit will very much elevate FCV. I see a blending back and forth of coaches, training, "reserves" U23s. etc. This my friend has been going on for years. African American Ownership is great for a lot of reasons but is not the ONLY reason or even a deciding one. No one goes to the games - who cares where WS plays TSJ owners have not empowered anyone. It's a nice gym. Nice fields but so is Evergreen. |
| Maybe TSJ can buy Villareal CF (not the local team they already own) but the football club too? |
| Maybe they can buy Peru's national teams |
Meh. Not much education going on here but ok. |

You do realize that CEO and owner are not the same thing, right? |
Why would this impact Loudoun soccer in any way? If anything it impacts FCV and Metro. Otherwise, in youth soccer, it's a non-issue |
Pretty ignorant |
You do realize the officers are the ones that facilitate the deal and the board approves how the money is spent. Is your issue that they are AA and can’t facilitate deals? Is your issue that they are men? |
Please enlighten us. I also don't get the link to Loudoun. Loudoun is in ECNL with a massive rec program. TSJ purchasing WS does what to Loudoun. WS is a pro team with no youth program. |
Common sense - This doesn’t effect LS a single bit. If so, how? Metro has nothing to do with Spirit - stop using it as a reference Higher fees for FCV wrapped up in a pretty package to get parents excited. Remember Spirit DA? Most expensive in the country for no real reason. Here what should happen - Spirit trains at TSJ and plays at the LS stadium |
What kind of nonsense is this? So the final nail in the coffin for Loudoun is higher fees for FCV to get parents excited? and Spirit training at TSJ? What BS |
reading comprehension not so great What i clearly wrote was that it doesn’t effect Loudoun one bit. The first sentence literarily says, “this doesn’t effect LS” |
