OK Loudoun dad. Calm down. Every single person with a college bound soccer kid knows this. They still received a full ride to UVA no matter what dirt you want to throw. It is what it is. I get celebrating the kid verbally committing to UVA. That’s great and everyone is happy for her. But the thread title doesn’t celebrate her. It’s a marketing thread for FCV. So don’t get all high and mighty when people express their opinions of FCV.

committing and receiving a full athletic scholarship are two different worlds. As soon as my U9 is ready to choose an ECNL team we announce our commitment. Still paying at least 50% of the cost but wow most kids dont get to play ECNL. Blaaaahhhh uuuuuhhhhh excuse while I puke.. Oh hey my neighbors have a boy and girl twins. They each received a full scholarship to play basketball at D-1 schools. No money out of their pockets either. Thats something to boast and celebrate about.
