What is wrong with the FBI?

We also haven't gotten answers on how it is that FBI got numerous warnings about plans for violence at the Capitol on January 6th and they did absolutely nothing about it.

The FBI needs some serious house cleaning - starting with Wray.

They got warnings before 9/11 and ignore those warnings.Just remember the following

WASHINGTON — After contradictory stories emerged about an F.B.I. agent’s killing last month of a Chechen man in Orlando, Fla., who was being questioned over ties to the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, the bureau reassured the public that it would clear up the murky episode.

“The F.B.I. takes very seriously any shooting incidents involving our agents, and as such we have an effective, time-tested process for addressing them internally,” a bureau spokesman said.

But if such internal investigations are time-tested, their outcomes are also predictable: from 1993 to early 2011, F.B.I. agents fatally shot about 70 “subjects” and wounded about 80 others — and every one of those episodes was deemed justified, according to interviews and internal F.B.I. records obtained by The New York Times through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

They shot and killed an unarmed individual who they were interviewing. The FBI is very similar to the Secret Service incompetent and republican with no oversight.

Hmmmm....

Mueller was the director then.

Were there any female agents interviewing?

"Athlete A" didn't go into as much depth as I hoped. I wish Netflix would do a follow-up just on the failed investigation.

Ugh, if I was one of those young gymnasts, if I told my mom that this was happening, she would have said, "you're making that up! You listen to the doctor!"

Republican? Maybe back when but not for a long time. The FBI needs massive reform but it’s always been a mess from Hoover on.

The primary problem is it’s truly a rogue agency.

+1. Run by deeply unimpressive people.

Yes for a long time including very recently. Maybe you forgot about the Clinton commentary about FBI being Trumpland. And federal LEO unions including FBI trying to push back against Biden's vax mandate. Yes, we need to clean house and get rid of these assholes.
