| You know, like a scrawny old woman. 40? 50? |
| I think late 20s. I always notice late 20s super skinny women look way older. A good example of this is Kate Middleton. |
| I am 32 and thin, not skinny. I wear it differently than I did in my early/mid 20s. My body looks pretty good, but I definitely appreciate toning and should get back into weight-bearing exercise before too long. My face treads a thin line between me feeling skinny/haggard and the dreaded photo-double-chin. But this is really taking it to the extreme, because again, I'm 32 and I look pretty ok. |

I am 26 and a friend of mine who has always been skinny is starting to get legit wrinkles in her forehead and a hint of crows feet. She has always been beautiful but the aging is starting, and if you look at pics of her from even a year ago it's amazing how much faster she has aged versus the rest of us.
She still looks good, but I am wondering how long that will last. |
| Wow really? Didn't think it would be that young. How do you explain the supermodels and celebs over 30 who still look great? |
Does she have an eating disorder? Do coke? |
| It depends a lot on your face. I'm apple shaped and put on weight mostly on stomach, arms and face. So I can get away with being pretty skinny and still have a good amount of fat on my face. The downside is weight gain looks unflattering pretty quickly. |
| Pp here forgot to mention age - 33. |
First of all, fat injections and great skincare, far outside the bounds of what the average person can afford. Spending many hours a day working on your body/face/skin will do that. Second of all, many supermodels carry fat in their face, I have noticed. Almost every single Victoria's secret model has a baby face where if they gained ten pounds they would look almost fat, in their face. (Miranda Kerr, Chrissy Teigen, Behati Prinsloo) So even though the rest of their body is really skinny, they have that extra padding in their face that keeps them from aging as much. So they basically have the fact of a normal sized person, or slightly underweight person, and the body of a tiny model. |
Botox? Airbrushing? Strategic tanning? Photoshop? Good genes? |
She probably does coke, she likes to party and lives in LA. Might have an eating disorder- she drinks a lot but doesnt eat a whole lot. I think she also has skinny genetics. |

Coco Chanel said it best;
"At some point, a woman must choose between her face or her ass." I'm 45. It's a conundrum. I will say that as a petite, small framed woman, I try to maintain muscle mass and good bone health, so I do exercise; otherwise, I could look fragile and frail. I guess you could say that I'm not ready to choose between my face and ass. Skinny looks frail, fragile and sickly maybe at 55 plus, although there's more to it that a definite age. So many women look old already at 55, but extreme thinness is more apparent in lines, wrinkles and even posture. |

I used to drink a lot at that age too and got wrinkles I could never fully get rid of without cosmetic procedures. The alcohol severely dehydrates you from within. |

Smoking and drinking do a number on your skin.
So does sleeping with makeup on, not following a good skincare routine, avoiding the sun. Know anyone who is skinny and smokes and drinks? That's an awful look...so, the skinny party girl at any age (think Tara Reid for well over a decade looks terrible). |
