Fire in upper NW?

The thing of it is, even if he argues "I was there but only intended to steal stuff," that is robbery, and DC's felony murder statute means it's first-degree murder.

Why did they burn the car? What kind of evidence could have been in the car? Bloody clothes? Also, would a bucket of that size fit in a porsche?

I wonder if they took clean clothes from Stavopoulos home. I still have not found the video/pixture discussed earlier. Pink pants???

And, if there was a woman involved, I could picture her raiding the wife's closet.

Since the car was in the street, the person must have been bold.

Has anyone on this thread ever been on the street. Surely, there were houses located across the street (hopefully, with security cameras).

The neighborhood is incredibly quiet during the day. It rare to see anyone on the street. I can completely understand that they could come and go and no one would see them. PLus the other houses are farther back from the street.

Thank you. Since I do not live in DC., I am not familiar with the neighborhood. I am also baffled regarding the vests. I thought perhaps they were used as a disguise to blend in. What kind of vests do the utility workers in D.C. wear? Years ago some work was being performed in my neighborhood. The workers had to come in the house to turn off the gas.

NP, It happened to me earlier back in the 100s--I apologized too--I don't think Jeff will ever forgive me though This thread has brought out the worst in me.

I am assuming this thread is for speculation purposes. Any thoughts on the importance/relevance of the several vests found in the garage at the home? Were the vests from his company? Or, possibly purchased by the assailants?

If people who post new facts here can cross post the same links on the "facts only" thread, that would be great.

Someone posted earlier that the vests were used by SS when he visited job sites. I have no idea where they got that information from or if it is accurate. The article I had read just mentioned there were some in the garage, not why.

I have a question regarding the facts thread. First, can you post a link? I know you did earlier but unsure of the page. Also, do you only want news stories? What do you consider a "fact"?

I wonder if they took clean clothes from Stavopoulos home. I still have not found the video/pixture discussed earlier. Pink pants???

Here is the picture but I don't think it's really relevant. It was taken way before the crime by the assistant apparently to share with his friends.

Thank you DCUM for putting up with others who live far away. This brutal crime has many riveted throughout the nation. Many of us are truly shocked and saddened by the senseless loss of lives. I know some of my family and friends have been following the developments. One in Atlanta, another in Ohio and a kind person I do not personally know in Malibu who also has posted on this thread.

Everyone wants these scumbags to be brought to justice.
