It remains to be seen where they land on the balcony for things like the next coronation and other official, public events they attend.

For photoshoots I expect them to be in the back like Beatrice and Eugenie...and I don't think they care. They're already off to the side sort of.

I think was a good outcome for the Queen in this horrible situation. . She was smart to let them keep HRH but not use it because that way when they divorce (and they will) you can bring Harry back in. Smart to also make sure he always has a U.K. home and I predict Megan goes there zero. Also if they do something wacky everyone will know they are not representing England. Also like that they have to pay back the money spent in Frogmore. Will see what the future holds and hopefully they make it but it will be hard. He is essentially no longer royal and will have to find something to do. She will be fine and back to making bad tv

I would love to live there. Much better than Frogmore. But, yeah, the amount of net worth/finances they disclosed on Instagram is not enough to dump that much money into a house.

Either they weren’t forthcoming with how much $$ they really have or they are going to be house poor until they start raking it in with their tell-all book.

I would think that there might be an inverse relationship between real estate and security costs. A home in an area with other rich people with security considerations and protocols in place might be cheaper for them to secure than a home elsewhere. Over time, it might make financial sense to pay more upfront for the house in order to take save substantially on their security, especially who is picking up the tab for their security has become such a public point of contention.
