They are 25th out of 25 and lost many games by scores like 7-0. It looks like they are keeping the same coach.

2014 age group is generally bad everywhere. I think it's due to last year by covid.
I want whatever this person is drinking. Had to read this like 5 times haha

Its May 19th! Still no coaching slate?

More realistic to expect them to have their parent coaches lined up by August 19th.

Oh, just look on their website where they would have posted their coaching slate before tryouts like any reputable club...oh wait never mind!

I'm confused about these coaching posts. Was just on the valor website looking for more information b/c my child is being recruited to joia and it looks like there are coaches listed? Are those not the actual coaches?

Both teams lost a more than typical number. Valor doesn’t draw top talent from elsewhere so second and third team players backfilling while increasing roster size because not enough girls to fill three teams. Brings opportunities for girls to move up but. Not necessarily merit based. Level of play could drop.

What are you talking about? The 2014 girls 2nd team will have more players moved up from the current 3rd team next year (8 by my count) than it's keeping. The first team lost so many they had to pull heavily from 2nd (and at least one from 3rd) to fill the roster. That's why there aren't enough players for a 2014 third team next year.

recruited to join which team?

Valor has hired coaches for their first teams only and announced at many of their tryouts that they were still looking for coaches. They also posted a help wanted ad for coaches during their tryouts. They also have 2nd-5th teams for many age groups. None of those coaches have been hired or if they have, Valor is keeping their identities a secret. Valor also likes to hire parents to coach their own child's team when they can't find qualified coaches so be on the lookout for that.

In previous years--and at almost every other club--coaches for all or almost all teams are hired *prior to tryouts*. You are buying the coaching more so than anything else so its an important piece of info to have before you commit $3200.

What age group/gender? One of us might be able to tell you who the coaches will be.

He took his kid to another club which is hilarious since he was penciled in to coach.

Was never the 2nd team coach. With the large number leaving no longer a 3rd team to coach anyway.
