What you said negates the first sentence. If Hamas gave the death penalty to one of their own terrorists for sex with men, why would a Hamas group do that to a hostage if that’s a crime in their own organization? Hamas is exactly like the mafia or jailhouse Muslims. Sodomizing another man would be a death sentence.

I don’t think they were there singing songs and being happy with the hostages, but there is no sense in Hamas gang raping them either. Being inside Gaza is punishment enough. They treated the hostages like bargaining chips because that’s what they were. Netanyahu killed Hamas chief negotiator in Iran, freaked out for the last month for Iranian retaliation to Israel (that hasnt come yet), and now Sinwar is the leader of Hamas (exactly what he was looking for).

If he’s inside Gaza at all with hostages, I am sure Israel knows about it and I’m not sure they are in a rush to end this war or find him or the remaining hostages because Netanyahu will face serious questions and public reckoning in post war Israel so it’s to his benefit to extend the conflict and divert to Iran. He’s stalling and Trump also encouraged stalling this deal because he doesn’t want Biden/Kamala to get a political win before the election. Has Donald Trump said anything about the hostage deaths because he should feel guilty as well? Hersh and three others out of this current tragedy were going to be released back in May, but Netanyahu stalled it.

Palestinian Christians are the real minority both in Israel and in Palestine and have been used to being the minority. Many Christian Palestinians live in Israel and in the West Bank and some even in Gaza, and they have a very educated and small community

The irony is both of these peoples’ respective religions validate the other’s birthright claim.

The Torah says the promise land is to the sons of Abraham. Abraham’s first son was Ishmael not Isaac. The entire Jewish mother thing came to validate Isaac only as the real heir but technically Arabs are descendants of Abraham too.
Abraham’s tomb is in the West Bank inside the Al Ibrahim/Abraham mosque diffused into two so Jewish worshippers can come for pilgrimage.

Did you know Jews can pray in mosques and Muslims can pray in synagogues but neither can in churches due to the iconography, and statues?

As for the Quran; it also says Jews/children of Israel will return to Israel in the last of days similar to rapture crazy Christianity (without the death of Jews for not accepting Jesus) and it says Jews were Gods chosen people not the pagan Arabs

Nobody is denying that gaza is also suffering. I’m not sure why it has to be a competition. The brutal capture, treatment and execution of the hostages matter and so do the deaths of tens of thousands of non Hamas Palestinian civilians.

They would do it as a form of humiliation. And many countries that publicly condemn homosexuality have male with male sub culture - including, unfortunately rape. Look up Afghanistan. Well documented.

It doesn't have to be a competition, but that mindset - not seeing the common humanity- means this will grind on and on to the last hostage taking as long as it takes. And at that point, Gaza I am guessing will be decimated and quite possibly the ground salted like Carthage. Both sides will "win" the pain competition.
