They also do not glorify or even refer to Hamas, an organization designated as dangerous by Meta,” the decision said. The posts and comments also didn’t contain threats of violence or physical harm.

It is amazing how the Palestinians are required to recognize Israel while Israel says a Palestinian state will never exist. Official Israeli maps do not show the West Bank.

But separately, an Israeli source familiar with the talks said Netanyahu’s demands were to blame for the deaths of the hostages over the weekend.

“Two months ago, when he (Netanyahu) put the obstacles, he said no to the deal,” the source told CNN. “The hostages died because he insisted.”

Actually the hostages died because Hamas members put a gun to their heads. Full stop.

According to IDF who discovered them.
Why would Hamas kill only six hostages now after a year esp an American hostage if they want them safe in a Tunnel as bargaining chips?

Why would Hamas leave the hostage corpses around them for the Israeli cadavers to smell something ? It’s more likely IDF entered the tunnel killing Hamas and the hostages together as the hostages were wearing similar clothes to Hamas and they couldn’t tell.

Because one of the poor hostages (RIP) was American, Israel has reason to say Hamas killed him. They aren’t going to say they entered a tunnel and eliminated Hamas and the hostage human shields

What’s happened to this site is so depressing. What is wrong with you? The hostages were killed because Israeli soldiers were about to rescue them and Hamas did not want hostages rescued through military means, after four were rescued in this way a few months ago. Hamas subsequently made this clear in an announcement about a new hostage policy after they murdered these six. None of this is complicated unless you are trying to twist yourself into a pretzel to say that Hamas did not torture and kill these hostages.

If you had read the excerpt OR the article itself, you would have understood that AN ISRAELI OFFICIAL placed the blame squarely on Netanyahu.

You were mentioning idiots ...

Reality? Did you read the article? Take your gaslighting up with the Israeli official who placed the blame on Netanyahu.

Or the thousands in the streets of Israel outside the military’s headquarters protesting Netanyahu.

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/09/02/middleeast/israel-general-strike-hostage-deal-intl-hnk

The protestors are right that the blood of the hostages is partly his fault because he refused hostage deal after hostage deal since last October. He made those poor hostages suffer a year in Gaza tunnels. Why couldn’t he take the several US proposed hostage deals?

https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/04/middleeast/netanyahu-derailed-hostage-deal-in-july-intl/index.html

Far-right members of Netanyahu’s coalition have pledged to bring down the government should he end the war whatsoever.

This is why Hamas is pushing for ceasefire in exchange for hostages. The US is on the same side as Hamas and wants ceasefire in exchange for safe return of hostages.

Netanyahu is in a Trap by Hamas. He’s such a fool
Anonymous
Hamas is taking advantage of the right wing extremists and leftist divide in Israel. They took hostages knowing it would divide Israel about war. Without hostages, Israel would unanimously favor war of annihilation and no ceasefire.

How can a guy who can get fooled by Hamas and fooled by Putin lead a country?

He needs to pack his bags. He’s been there on the scene since 1996 and he saw Hamas through from infancy to now it’s adult wealth. That’s going down in the history books as Netanyahus greatest accomplishment along with severing the relationship Israel has with the Democratic Party
Anonymous
The protests are not the Arab spring but an Israeli spring. He needs to listen to the young people of Israel and resign

Golda Meir was unfairly pushed out of office for her 10/7 which was nothing compared to this one. Ehud Barak was pushed out after the second intifada.

Again, nothing compared to 10/7. How is Netanyahu able to politically survive the worst day in Israeli history?
