Bold claim. Where's your evidence?

He said he's an anti-racist in the mold of Kendi. And Kendi supports discriminations against whites and Asians.

Can you cite this? Or is it a "fact" you've invented?

If I do will you denounce Kendi and any MCPS teacher or administrator who supports him?

So to get "facts" out of you, you make it provisional based on some BS about denouncing someone? Wow, you're a peach. I mean you're not comfortable in your fact, which you ostensibly spout on here, to just rattle off chapter and verse, you got to get people to buy into you cow manure first, and if they do then you know you have some gullible soul who'd likely believe anything you have to say. Yeah, you're a source I'd buy into, and I'd likely buy a bridge from you, too.

Stop the hate and grievance, especially for someone most of the posters have never met. Imagine if you started a new job and this was the kind of vitriol that you encountered prior to day one. Is this what you want to teach the kids?

I second this.

Not that I think it'll make much of a difference to the trolls spouting Taylor's wokeness, the lack of history in the 1619 project, Kendi's diabolical racism, et al. I'd guess that their kids are part of the problem that we have at Churchill - apples oh so often actually do not fall far from the tree.

For some people, it’s hard for them to understand discrimination or even to recognize discrimination if they have not been on the receiving end. That’s why staff training is important. That’s why educating students to recognize discriminatory practices and implicit biases are important.

Discrimination sometimes doesn’t come from a place of meanness, but from ignorance. These are some discriminatory practices my child with disabilities have experienced at Churchill:

* teachers forgetting to provide accommodations

* a teacher’s verbalized and written refusal to provide an accommodation because she didn’t agree with the IEP

* telling a student that she needs to advocate for her accommodations then publicly chastised a student for not advocating properly

* retaliatory behavior when a child reports discrimination

* creating barriers to Honors and AP classes because those classes don’t have the support available that a child needs

* using state testing forms incorrectly to exclude a child from an accommodation on an IEP

* teasing and bullying by other students for being a student with a disability

* public announcement that students with disabilities ride this bus or go to this classroom and thus violate their right for confidentiality

So let’s recap. You make a claim. When asked to corroborate your claim with legitimate evidence, you say you will only if the person requesting the evidence does something else. Doesn’t put you in a positive light and casts doubt about your original claim.

Your reading comprehension is terrible. I asked if I were to post evidence, would PP denounce Kendi and any MCPS teacher or administrator who supports him? Or, as I suspect, will they make excuses for why a person would say something so awful and racist?

So if a principal was a known member of the KKK, we should give that person a pass too, until we meet him?

:::Laughing::: You're so caught up in not seeing your own race issues that you're making up crap about other people.

Kendi's book, of which he's certainly most well-known, is "How to be an Antiracist", not a Black antiracist, an antiracist period, which means you're not discriminating against ANYONE, Black, white, Asian, Idigenous, and the list goes on. I'm guessing, and yes it's a guess, that you haven't read the book, likely because you figure you don't need to because of course you're not a racist.

You must've missed this passage then: “The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination." It's impossible to deny that Kendi is advocating for discrimination against whites which is disgusting.

The Fox News/OAN/Newsmax cultural warriors are out in full force here. Principals, especially HS principals, need thick skin!

I don't watch any of those. What I do watch are the words and actions of MCPS admins and teachers, many of whom are racist against whites and Asians.

Google is your friend. "Kendi, white people, aliens"

And you must've missed these passages:

A racist idea is any idea that suggests one racial group is inferior or superior to another racial group in any way. Racist ideas argue that the inferiorities and superiorities of racial groups explain racial inequities in society.
An antiracist idea is any idea that suggests the racial groups are equals in all their apparent differences—that there is nothing right or wrong with any racial group. Antiracist ideas argue that racist policies are the cause of racial inequities.

I didn't miss anything. I agree with that statement. That statement doesn't, however, mention culture which is responsible for most discrepancies.

For anyone interested in talking with Principal Taylor, tomorrow (June 20th) is the first meet and greet at 7pm. Enter through the Bulldog Lobby. Starts at 7pm.

Someone should ask him to put all his cards on the table so you can all see what I was talking about in terms of him being woke.

How would you go about that?
