My personal opinion is based of my DD playing against KL's Coyotes. He can develop players and teams. Ask any other coach at any top club nd they will agree.

As multiple people have stated here, there are kids who live less than a few miles from BSC practice fields who drive 30-45 minutes to play for other ECNL clubs and the girls that I know who do play for other clubs are some of the best players in the region. If BSC was able to keep that talent, it could rival PDA, MI Hawks, Lonestar, FC Stars, Mclean, etc. But the club has never fulfilled the potential that it has on the boys' side. Again, ask yourself why players would by pass BSC for McLean, FCV and MUFC to play for Moumen/Watson, Cziommer and Canellakis. The parents don't even realize that KL is the only coach at Bethesda who is on the same level of those coaches. BSC has some great coaches but the track-record of those above is undeniable. If the BSC parents get out of the way, BSC could get to that level. Wake up!

Why would a non BSC parent be on this board posting so much though? Asking for a BSC parent.

Nothing is wrong with the BSC coaches, except they are not allowed to do their job without interference from the bosses. BTW BSC did get to CL last 2 years in a row.

Because that is what the board is for. Since it seems like people on the inside don't get it, I am happy to share an outsider's perspective.

As I said, BSC has great coaches but there is a disconnect between great coaching and consistent development success. KL should help but parents need to wake up as well. Bethesda should achieve CL placement in every age group. They are not PDA or FC Stars but should be closer to McLean.

Interesting. You must have a DD that desperately wants to play for KL. Why else does a parent that plays against KL’s team track what he does and how he trains his team? Unless you are a emotionally involved with him. LOL.

Ok Karen. And above is the best example of why folks avoid Bethesda parents like they were just at a wet market in Wuhan.

Looks like there’s going to be a girl fight between two Desperate Housewives of Bethesda over KL.

Virtual tryouts? How does that even work?

Teams are already set.

Any virtual tryouts that are occuring this week are for supplemental spots on lower teams.

Maryland is going into phase 2 as of Friday 5pm which opens up some level of youth sports in smaller groups. "virtual" tryouts wont be needed.
