Or he'll say he and his wife got into an argument. She said something vile about the girlfriend, and the girlfriend flipped out and struck her over the head with a shovel or whatever. He helped girlfriend dispose of the evidence, but he did not kill his wife--girlfriend did and she's trying to pin it on him.

She will counter accuse him. So we won't be able to determine who really did it. So some short jail terms for each related to the ancillary crimes. I've seen this one before.

Exactly! Looks like she's the one who came from money -- and her family now will do anything to have the dude convicted. I'm positive he will not get away with murder.

All they have to do is bring it back to the fact that there's no body and you can't convict someone of manslaughter without absolute certainty.

He probably would have taken a deal if CT had the death penalty.

I know this is a few pages back but this really is not true. There have been plenty of cases where people where convicted of first degree murder without a body - and some of those cases were challenged on appeal and the conviction stood.
