All they have to do is bring it back to the fact that there's no body and you can't convict someone of manslaughter without absolute certainty.

I know this is a few pages back but this really is not true.  There have been plenty of cases where people where convicted of first degree murder without a body - and some of those cases were challenged on appeal and the conviction stood. [/quote]
