Kavanaugh Accuser reveals her Identity

Something very similar happens to me in college involving two guys I went to high school with and was stopped when a third guy walked in and said “hey wtf is going on?”

I totally believe her. And am so sad this happens to
Other people. I ran out crying. I still know all the people involved. When you are that young you don’t necessarily go straight to the police. Slut shaming is real.

She can't press charges. The statute of limitations has passed.

She might be able to pursue a civil suit for damages, but I'm not a lawyer, so don't know. Anyone know?

What exactly is the MD statue of limitations?

Again, how many years is it in Maryland?

There is no statue of limitations in Maryland. There are a bunch of statues in Baltimore City, some stone and some bronze, but those are mostly historical figures. None are of limitations.

Again, why hasn't she pressed charges?

your line of argument is a loser and weak, and you know it.

Your reading skills are weaker. You’re arguing about stone monuments.

i didn't post that, but again you show your argument is weak.

FYI, we're asking a simple question, not "arguing" anything, my friend.

Anyone?

BS. The Dems planned this. They sat on the letter until the 11th hour. Their timing is choreographed, just like their playacting the morning of the first hearing. This is "he said, she said" on steroids. For two months they said nothing to the GOP on the committee. It gave her time to get her social media cleaned up--although I did find one site where she gave a "clap" for an article about the Women's March.

Now that's a great point! And of course they planned it. I said first day of confirmation that if none of their BS works, me too is next.

In a way, I'm glad as the left is exposing its ugly underbelly to the American public.

Come on, Repubs knew all about this. Hoe else did the suddenly 65 women who knew him from high school suddenly get organized to attest to his good character? They had this in their back pocket in case the assault accusation came out.

Too tin foil hat for me, bro.

But it’s not a raging conspiracy to think she concocted this years in advance of his nomination, and “sitting on it” allowed her to clean up her social media? It’s not wacky conspiracy theory bs to think she is a research psychologist and therefore she and her “psychologist friends” cooked this up?

Perhaps because she was PSYCHOLOGICALLY TRAUMATIZED.

I went through MUCH more than her and am not psychologically traumatized. Maybe because I DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT AT THE TIME. And I was younger than her.

If you want to knock someone off, you grab him by the arms and pull them apart. You don't jump on top of them. The boys were just playing around. There wasn't any attempt to rape.

You played some f'd up "games" as a kid.

why is pressing charges so important to whether or not she is credible? you show you know nothing about this. women who have been assaulted and raped often do not press charges. why? read the last 28 pages and you will see what we face, and it was worse in the 80s.

Wow. Just hearing about this from my academic circle. While her name is not immediately familiar to me, we have published in similar areas and are in the same broad field.

I’ve only read the first and last pages—I don’t know if she’s telling the truth, but I can’t think of a reason why someone in her position would lie. There’s too much to lose, and too little to gain. As for those doubting that someone would keep an incident like this to themselves without telling anyone, it can definitely happen. In particular, I’d been in a similar (but less severe) situation with two boys at the same age. I don’t think I told a soul until I told my husband in recent years. I know other women who can say the same about past incidents like this.

I hope she has a good support system in place for the media storm that is to follow.

Notariety, probably cash too.

Yes, her notoriety (50% of people think she’s a liar and some brilliant psychologist conducting a research experiment) will also come along with the bonus of death threats from people on the right, no doubt. She’s been waiting her whole adult life just for this moment.

Mighty fishy that the alleged victim still refuses to press charges all these years....

Why?

If you want a real answer, at least use the correct term. Statute of limitations, not statue. You don’t even realize what you’re asking.

An academic at a liberal college has too much to lose? HHAHAHAHHAAA. She'd lose if she had come out in support of Kavanaugh.
