The chosen one who could not make it past the first primary state. Yeah, no reason to not like her over Trump. |
I support Israel in this war but Netanyah is no better than trump and Putin. |
Whatever else is said— and a lot else will be said— Joe Biden deserves the admiration and gratitude of his country. He guided us out of the pandemic and the economy had a soft landing. He is showing true humility, a trait I haven’t seen in a politician in my lifetime. |
? They may not be the majority, but I have 5 or 6 Black friends who have voted for Trump and plan to again. They absolutely exist. |
Newsome will be the candidate. |

DP The why isn’t relevant. It’s not even mentioned in PP’s post. |
No. It isn’t. Do you know several presidents haven’t had children? |
Election denier! |
Thank you Mr President. There is something g to be said about loving your country more than yourself.
And thank you to the democrats. The republicans had a chance to push Trump aside and chose not to even if it would be better for the country. Democrats saw the debate and did ask themselves if Joe is the best they could do. |
"How can any Dem pushing him to drop out of the presidential race, argue in good faith that he should stay on as POTUS?" Vance noted: "If Joe Biden doesn't have the cognitive function to run for re-election, then he certainly doesn't have the cognitive function to remain as Commander-In-Chief."
JD Vance tweet from two days ago. |
Nope, that is not what Hillary said. Here, read the full quote to the end: We are living in a volatile political environment. You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? [Laughter/applause] The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people — now how 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric. Now, some of those folks — they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America. But the other basket — and I know this because I see friends from all over America here — I see friends from Florida and Georgia and South Carolina and Texas — as well as, you know, New York and California — but that other basket of people are people who feel that the government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures, and they’re just desperate for change. It doesn’t really even matter where it comes from. They don’t buy everything he says, but he seems to hold out some hope that their lives will be different. They won’t wake up and see their jobs disappear, lose a kid to heroine, feel like they’re in a dead-end. Those are people we have to understand and empathize with as well. So she was same *some* of Trump's supporters were in the basket of deplorables. From what we see of the Oathkeepers, the racism and misgyny, she wasn't wrong. But more to the point, at no time did she say "half the country" were deplorable. Never. That is a right wing half-truth that they managed to get stuck into the lore of that campaign. |
Can I have a puff of what you're smoking? |
