| Robo/LB is a tough one. I think it will come down to ball control, i.e., keeping out of the two big shooters on LB. Robo did a great job at FO in the last matchup--until fogo got hurt. If Robo can create a 50/50 on FOs and have wings step up, I think they will control and win. |

| Any updates on Concorde District honors? |
Generally agree with this, but my money is on Langley and Lake Braddock both getting close wins in the rematch games. |
One down. LB 10 Robinson 7 |
I think the McLean-Langley game will be lower scoring than predicted. Mclean looked sluggish against Marshall...hopefully they knocked off some rust as Langley is playing HOT right now |

Anyone see the game? Any observations? |

Lake Braddock dominated entire game and it was never in question. Couple of spirited plays by Robo in final 7-8 minutes of game made it a little interesting. In general Robo looked shell shocked in Q1 and just did not have the horses to keep up with the LB stars, who I'm not sure ever came out of the game.
Bruins sent a message. This is their year to make history and when they are focused and come to play they are dominant. I think Yorktown and LB are clear favorites at this point. Lot of lax to go but Bruins are playing at a really high level. |

I wouldn't sleep on Madison. They have looked really solid since the early loss to Yorktown and already beat Lake Braddock once.
Battlefield has a clear path to the state championship game. Freedom didn't give them any trouble and Cosby and Kellam don't look that good. Still looking like Yorktown, Madison, Lake Braddock, and Robinson as the C/D representatives in States and fighting for the other finals spot (with McLean, Langley, and Oakton hoping to play spoiler and grab one of the two Region D spots). I don't think any Region C teams can oust Robo or LB. Someone mentioned that they might switch States to a rotating format with it not always being A/B and C/D. That would be great. Regions C and D have so much more depth. |

I have questions. Lake Braddock got killed by Yorktown in their scrimmage, lost to Madison and Robinson, beat Oakton by 1 and McLean by 2. They have some great top-end talent but haven't earned the ring yet. Should be a great post-season. |
|
It looks like the Region C playoffs are already starting. Does anyone know the bracket setup?

I agree with this 100 percent. Bruins have been doubted on this website for way too long. They deserve their respect. |
Has LB ever won a state title? |
