Thank you. A few questions - okay so maybe they've stopped fundraising for him? Its still a critical time to run ads on Election Day and the day before - so yeah that's huge. But I don't get the 'run like cockroaches'. They already came out for him as you said, would you be expecting all of them to be on the road in Virginia all Sunday and Monday as well? That's Terry's job. Or his surrogates job and although he's been bringing in national powerhouses, he really should have LOCAL surrogates who know the population and the county seats. |
I'm not walking away from the party. I just can't stand McAuliffe or his platform. The local boards and counties (in my area at least) will still be run by Dems. Viva Youngkin! |
I am still trying to get my head around Terry's campaign being blamed for a stunt orchestrated by republicans. |
CRT is not taught in virginia schools (or any schools for that matter) -so it is a really bad reflection that people are voting on a total lie. |
Yep. |
A) The stunt has been connected to Democrat operatives. Fact. B) The stunt was set to make his rival look extremely bad and McAuliffe's poll numbers were sliding. Fact. C) Public campaign oversight has shown that McAuliffe paid the Lincoln group during this campaign. Fact. D) Several of the stunt instigators have been allegedly connected to the Democrat Party of Virginia. E) National media, heavily left-leaning, refuse to investigate or identify the names or positions of the instigators even with clear pictures from multiple angles. Fact. All roads lead to Terry. |
I really disliked Trump and that made me get more active in local Democratic politics, but seeing how smug and insular (along with how hypocritical our local all-Democratic school board turns out to be) was a giant turn-off. Quit the party and don’t really have one now, but voted for Youngkin because having state and local government under one-party control has not been not working well. |
They are absolutely terrified of being accused later of having delivered the election to Youngkin, but realistically that is something that McAuliffe’s team is doing, not the media. |
Wait, that's not the position Democrats have taken in the past! Anyone who didn't vote for HRC was a "misogynist" - remember?? Anyone who criticizes ANY female Democrat is a "misogynist". Never mind that we all stated we didn't agree with her policy positions. Democrats have made it plain: if you don't support a woman, you're a misogynist. If you don't support a POC, you're a racist. These are YOUR standards - except when they're not, of course. ![]() DP |
Absolutely agree. |
It is being investigated right now. Stay tuned to the news. |
DP. A lot of teachers will voluntarily resign from public schools and happily go work in charters. From Youngkin's website: Restore Excellence In Education Virginia’s students have fallen behind because of extended school closings, lower school standards, and political agendas. Glenn will empower parents and restore excellence and commonsense in education by: • Keeping Schools Open Safely Five Days a Week • Restoring High Expectations & Getting Every Student College or Career Ready • Ridding Political Agendas from the Classroom by Banning Critical Race Theory • Rebuilding Crumbling Schools, Raising Teacher Pay, & Investing in Special Education Programs • Creating at least 20 New Innovation Charter Schools across the K-12 Spectrum to Provide Choice |
Someone asked about reputable pollsters.
I follow quite a few. Check out Frank Luntz. He’s nationally known pollster. He said yesterday, based on historical data, 80% prediction for Youngkin. I about fell out of my chair. You can see a video of the comment on his Twitter (he posted it yesterday afternoon). He can explain his reasoning/analysis better than I can explain it here. |
Why are Democrats so obtuse? People LIKE YOU are the reason the PP (and many others) are walking away from Democrats. But, you knew that. |
