This is dumb? GA has taken half of ECNL’s recruiting visibility? A NOVA team had 185 coaches at a single game in North Carolina this past weekend. |
That doesnt make sense. Recruiters aren't shopping for players at events. They're there to look at players who have contacted them. At most each team is rostering 22 players. This means max of 44 players reaching out to colleges and asking them to watch them play. If theres 185 recruiters watching a single game this means each player is inviting 4 recruiters each and all the recruiters are showing up at the same time, same game. Just stop with the outrageous lies. |
On top of that when recruiters see all kinds of other recruiters at a game it tells them their likelihood of getting one of those players is low. Unless youre with a super college of some type. Again recruiters aren't shopping for players at events. They have a list of players that have reached out in some form expressing interest. They're following up watching play to see if those players would fit on their team. |
No you’re dumb posting this. Stop being coy and say the club if you feel that the need to make such a claim |
I see it mentioned over and over on this thread that only kids on GA Playoff and champions cup teams get recruited. I have said it before and I will say it again. My daughter plays on a showcase GA team from a well known midwestern club with a reputation for producing college players. Our showcase team has attracted many D1 coaches from SEC, Big10, ACC, etc. Multiple kids on her team, including my daughter have played ECNL. Outside of the top tier ECNL clubs, the level of competition between ECNL and GA is much closer than most want to admit. |
My daughter played on a USYS National League team for U14. We played Jefferson cup third division (premier orange) out of something like 16 divisions in 2023. We went undefeated beating all ECNL national league teams. I have always thought that outside of the top tier clubs, that the ECNL was all marketing. |
The top of the GA and the middle of ECNL are closer than you want to admit. |
And now chicago rush phenoms doesnt exist in its current iteration. Where does she play now |
cause its true. if they decoupled the GA Champions tournament from the DEC tournament and the Playoffs from the June showcase, the normal showcase would be terribly low for college turnout. Case in Point: GA Champions Cup Only @ IMG (March) 117 D1 Regular Showcase Only NC (April) 57 D1 Here is good list of where the 2026's are committed as of May 26 broken out by clubs ECNL, ECNLRL/GA/ https://x.com/ImYouthSoccer/status/1927107476950061460/photo/1 |
As a parent with a kid on a top GA team. The top GA teams and top ECNL teams are pretty much the same thing. |
What magical state is this? |
Nobody believes anything imyouthsoccer posts anymore. Its all cherry picked and often wrong. |
lmao.... https://x.com/ImYouthSoccer/status/1927107476950061460/photo/1 |
Our 2012GA team can beat any ECNL team in this area. Not an opinion but a fact. Don’t let that trigger you. We’ll soon enough meet on the field. You in your flip flops and no business wearing yoga pants that no one wants to see but you insist on wearing living vicariously through your teen DD. |
I hope this isn't the team I'm thinking of because games against ECNL teams make me think otherwise. |
