Pre-ECNL - Keith O
Gold - Lexi K
White - Jose A (??? This one I’m not quite sure if I got the name right.)

Now I don’t remember where I got this information, if it was an email or an instagram post or where so I can’t double check White.

No last names?

I know last names but based on the gross behavior a few pages back, I wasn’t sure about sharing them on this thread. All the girls who got offers in this group know who their coach is and at least for two of the teams got a personal call from the coach.

Why are the coach's identities such a secret

At this point, if you have an offer for a specific team ask the club if that information was not provided when they offered the spot. If you didn't attend tryouts because they didn't advertise coaches good, you should know your kids coach at another club.

Why so defensive? Its very abnormal to
hide the identities of the coaches like this. People are understandably curious about what they are hiding.

Did they tell the parents they had to keep the names of the coaches a secret? People seem afraid to name any coaches. The level of secrecy is nutty.

Throughout this entire site coaches are only referred to by initials. Often times meaning it could be several different people.

I honestly think it’s because they (Valor staff) still don’t know how many teams they will have, not enough coaches for the amount of teams they want, and are still shuffling coaches around. More than secrecy, it is probably poor planning and management that led to disorganized chaos and mystery.

Every other club posts the names of the coaches they hire on their website and instagram. Why isn't Valor doing that this year? Its so strange!

Are the lower team parents being told coach names or just team names with their offers?

Haven't been around that long and not top team but both years when given an offer the coach called before the the offer was received electronically. Is this not standard?

No.
Our valor second/third team offers were just generic playmetrics emails. I have never heard of anyone getting a phone call.

I did twice with Valor that's interesting.

Boys side-had two boys play on
Valor for several years and we have never received a phone call, how odd! Just emailed offers from the registration system. Top and second teams.

Do people even answer their phones to strange numbers or check their VM? I
would think this method would lead to a lot of miscommunication and missed offers!

Everyone checks their email....
