Curious: how often do you have sex and what is your children's bedtimes?

I'm curious because I can't ask my friends in person But what time do your kids go to bed (and how old are they?) and how often do you have sex?

I do wonder if people who have kids who go to bed on the early side tend to have more sex just because they have more time before their own bedtime.

Kids are 5.5 and 4, go to bed by 8:30, DH and I have sex 3-4x per week.

DD is four. She goes to bed between 8 and 9. We have sex after she goes to bed 3-4 days a week.

kids are 12 mo and 3.5. go to bed about 8. 1-2 times a week.

My kid is asleep by 9:30. We have sex twice a week minimum. We had sex every other day, sometimes daily, before the kid was born. But I think our slowing down has more to do with age and permanent exhaustion (from kid) vs. actual bedtimes.

Op here: my kids are 6 and 4 and are in bed by 8p. We have sex 4 times a week usually. We are both happy with that number.

I have several friends whose (similar aged) children regularly go to bed between 9:30-11. I Know that if my kids went to bed that late, I would be exhausted and dh and I would have less sex (as we did when they were younger and waking up a lot). I honestly don't care when other people put their kid down, but when I hear of a super late bedtime, my first thought is (my goodness, are they getting enough sex?? ?)

I have teenagers. They are usually up very-very late. We lock our bedroom door before sex. Long drawn sex is around 4 times a week. Quick HJ and BJ usually early mornings 3-4 times. Depends on who is in more need. We rarely go without any kind of sex for more than 1 day. We do abstain on heavy flow or crampy period days.

My kids are 15 and 17 and go to bed between 9 and 9:30pm. We have sex 1-2 times per week.

Wow. We have sex, like, once every month or so. And our kids aren't little/exhausting. DH does have an insane commute, but even on the weekends ... nope.

Well we are a bit unusual. We have sex daily and on occasion twice a day. Our kids are 8&5 and go to bed NLT 8:30PM. We do not limit sex to the evening. We quite often gone upstairs when the kids are playing video games or watching a movie, locked the door and did it then. We also have plenty of shower sex.

Two kids, 9 & 11. 8:30 weekdays, 9:30 weekends. We have sex about twice a month.

Man, oh man. I don't ever want to be one of you "once or twice a month" couples. How good can that sex be? It's probably bare bones and not doing anything extra. No thanks.

I agree, but as long as two low drive people have found each other it works our perfectly. I'm very high drive and so is DH. Thank God for us, both of us have kept pace with each other. I feel so bad when people are sexually mismatched. Must be miserable for the person left holding their wiener.
