He grew up in a conservative family and turned leftist online and during high school.

Mainly aimless teens do.

And you simply know that because of your critical thinking. "It cannot be a right winger because that would make me look bad, so it must be a leftist."

No. No he didn't.

There's actually starting to be reporting out there now. You might want to go read it.

There's even a Vanity Fair article!

This is not an isolated incident. This is a widespread disease that has infected the minds of millions, and it was done so intentionally. This is by design.

We are dealing with people who have been literally brainwashed by everything they consume, to hate us and everything we stand for.

We are living in an Orwellian dystopia.

While they chant in unison, Trump is a fascist.

While you chant in unison we will not be replaced!

Sorry- chanting is for the pu$$y hat crew.

Gotta give it to leftists, they are great chanters. They will take weeks and weeks of work off to march about, chanting various slogans.

Why, during the work week, in the middle of the day, leftists gather to engage in all manner of marching and chanting and singing.

While the evil republicans are at work supporting billionaires, democrats are supporting democracy by marching and chanting. Carrying all manner of signs and large papier mache heads of fascists.

Imagine the hours of work democrats spend paiper mache-ing fascist heads?

Stunning! And brave.

Yes, that's what people have been trying to tell you the difference is. That is exactly what the extreme left does. Why are you glorifying violence?

It's basically the difference in bullying between high school boys and girls. Both are bad but one style is more physical than the other. One style wants you to kill yourself while the other wants to kill you themselves. One style tries to exert physical control while the other tries to exert social control.

It's all toxic and it's all a circular response to each other's most extreme elements exacerbated by social media and algorithms to lock us in bubbles of groupthink while feeding us ragebait about the other.

A young adult becomes a leftist after growing up in a conservative family is very likely. Many people claim that they can’t even talk to or spend time with their conservative parents and family members after becoming leftist.

“One style wants you to kill yourself while the other wants to kill you themselves.“

Seriously a very strange comment. Not at all rooted in reality or sanity. Yikes.

I, and many leftists, think Trump is fascist. It's really pretty obvious that he is. I don't support violence against Trump, Charlie Kirk, Venezuelan people in boats, Gazans, or anyone really.

The shooter thought Charlie Kirk was fascist. Because he was a follower of Nick Fuentes and a groyper who was in a small, radicalized online right wing incel crowd.

We both use the same word, but have very, very different philosophies.

Fuentes has never called Charlie a fascist. Nobody on the far right would use that term as a pejorative against someone who they think isn’t sufficiently right wing. That makes no sense.

Well, the shooter might just be out of his mind. And strengthened by an extremist online right wing community. Or, he might have written that on the bullet for some other reason. Probably someone will ask him at the trial and we'll know then.

Are you unaware of the extremist online left wing community?

Or just ignoring them?

No, both sides have extreme online communities.

You only mentioned the right wing community. Why didn’t you mention both extremes?

Because we're discussing the murder of Charlie Kirk and today we learned that his murderer was part of an extremist right wing community. So they're on topic.

Source and link that the shooter was part of an extremist right wing community?

Show us where that information is being reported?

No, provide evidence for your claim from a reputable news organization or law enforcement source.

Where did you find this information?

You do have a reputable source you are quoting, right?

The way you’ve worded your questions makes it clear you’re not really looking for information, you’re trying to box me into a corner. On a forum like this, people raise ideas, perspectives, and arguments, and if you want to engage, you can bring your own evidence or reasoning to the table. Simply repeating 'prove it' in the form of demands for sources isn’t real discussion, it’s a setup. If you were genuinely curious, you would ask in a neutral way and be open to a range of answers. Since that’s not what you’re doing, I’m not going to treat your line of questioning as good faith.

There's nothing wrong with protest and free speech and political activism. There is something wrong with violence. BOTHSIDES are not toxic. The violent one who hates empathy is the one that's toxic.

You really can't make this stuff up.

Kirk once said, "I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage."

That's an awful thing to say. And even worse to add into our political discourse.

Oh, jeeze It's more likely they follow in their family's footsteps. Otherwise there would be no right wing young adults.

Our right wing government has had him for a day (along with his Discord), and you’re still quoting the same flaccid “evidence”. Trump, who can’t keep his mouth shut about anything, has moved off the story. Have you ever managed to read a tea leaf in your life?

Yup, dumb people believing dumb people everywhere

But yet it’s Trump who is having the government buy stakes in U.S. companies, like intel. The far left doesn’t buy into that. They just want socialized medicine or some sort of government controlled pricing so healthcare is affordable for all. Cancer treatments should not be the option for only rich people.
