I'm sure you realize what a ridiculous statement this is. NC has a population of 11 million people and growing, with many excellent young female soccer players almost all of which do not play for CSA.

Poster was going for the hyberbole, but they have a point. Looking at Soccer Rankings, CISC will be the cream of the crop as they are coming from ECNL. The rest (Triangle, Wake, CDA) are on par or below the RL teams in NC.

CISC lost a ton of players when they left ECNL. Next couple seasons will be up for grabs as all these new GA clubs fight for the same player pool. Most likely 1 GA club emerges as the clear leader and gets most of the non-ECNL top players. Same will happen in VA with maybe 1 or 2 clubs collecting most of the players.

CISC did a surprisingly good job maintaining girl players after the unannounced switcheroo to GA. Next year is a whole different story with the age change switch to SY…septQ4 cisc players will flood CSA and try to get on teams that they couldn’t make in the BY system.

Exactly. they lost very few players because tryout were in Feb then they did the switcheroo in March after everyone had set rosters. So very little place for anyone to go. CSA picked up a few players but otherwise teams are intact.

They are different and should be treated that way.

Maybe I am wrong, but I just don't get WHY this is criteria.

MLSN and GA don't care if clubs also have ECNL.

ECNL won't let any of their teams be 2nd to MLSN or GA.

Multiple clubs have tried to have MLSN as their 1st team and ECNL has their second team. When this happens ECNL threatens to take or does take girls ECNL away.

You misunderstood her question. And for heavens sake stop being in denial. It’s 2025 and the age of avoiding reality is over. All good ECNL girl players are moving to GA next season or those who got a spot. My DD is on ECNL team and our top 6 players all left. She’s hating it now.

That’s interesting. I thought all the movement was going the other way. Where is your club?
