Vote CATANIA to Regain YOUR Neighborhood School

The school belongs to the neighborhood, and not to a non-resident bureaucrat interested in building a CV and bigger paycheck. A school can make and sustain a neighborhood. Be responsible Tuesday.

Although I am not familiar with this specific issue, my support goes to Catania as well, largely because of his familiarity to the district's educational system and its challenges. Overall, (education and other matters), the district needs a change.

I thought Catanua just said he wants more charters. How does this help neighborhood schools?

You may want to get more informed before Tuesday.

Completely agree!

Catania is the choice to strengthen neighborhood schools throughout the district. He is not anti charter nor does he want more charters. For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone who cares about public education in DC (DCPS and public charter) would not vote for him. (Signed a democrat and DCPS parent).

Catania for me as well! Much stronger leader overall.

Talked to him outside Brookland metro yesterday. He has my vote. Very impressed.

I hope he is working hard this weekend!

We are for Catania all the way. He knowledgeable and smart on educational issues, and he will lead -- not just put a finger to the wind like what's-her-name.

I just got some campaign literature from Catania. He wants schools that are "excellent for every child in every neighborhood".

A wonderful goal.

Reminds me of the FEDEX commercial. "How'm I gonna do that?"

Agree. I listened to him at a community meeting last year where he introduced his DC Promise Plan. It's clear he has thought about the challenges facing kids in all wards, and wants to continue helping them even after they leave DCPS. My kids won't benefit from his program, since we are able to pay for college. But here's someone who had a plan for continuing education before a mayoral run, and which will happen whether or not he becomes mayor. He has a vision for education in DC that Bowser doesn't.

But Bowser will invite everyone to sit around the table.
