DP. And yet the settlement statement states clearly that her concerns deserved to be heard. Also the court had several opportunities to throw out her lawsuit as frivolous and did not. It did toss Baldoni's entire countersuit though. |
Exactly. |
It's like you've never heard of buying followers |
I’m sure two years of negative headlines, $50 million in legal fees, broken friendships, and having your acting career dry up are absolutely worth a lawyer vaguely saying your concerns deserved to be heard. |
| Baldoni hasn't made a public appearance since all of this started. He's like a phantom. When will he come out of hiding? |
It really is pathetic when you put it that way. What a jerk she is |
You mean since the settlement? Certainly, you don’t mean since the lawsuit was filed. He’s been out plenty. He and his family were in Hawaii and Costa Rica for long periods of time. He’s posed for pictures with fans periodically. Ryan and Blake could learn a thing or two instead of being so thirsty for paparazzi. |
No, not talking about being "spotted" on vacation. I mean doing something work related. Someone upthread said he's amassed a bunch of "fans" on social media during all this. But what are they fans of? Him vacationing in Hawaii? That's not a job. Ryan and Blake have been working. Ryan does interviews and press for his projects, like the John Candy documentary. Blake promoted her Simple favor sequel, and she's returned to the Meg Gala, which is an event/organization she's been involved with for a long time. What does Baldoni do? What's his job? Will we ever hear from him again? |
. I think Blake got too big for her britches. And I kind of get it. She was hanging out with A-listers. Although I cannot stand him, her husband is (was) rich and powerful. She was good friends with the biggest star in the world for god’s sake. Add on the fact that just about everyone in Hollywood is narcissistic and especially when a nepo baby, who could blame her for thinking she could do whatever the heck she wanted. I think she sort of lucked into most of what she had though and it was all by association. For better or worse, her marriage made her feel more important than she really was. She isn’t outrageously talented or special in any way. Most of us aren’t. Reality has come crashing down. |
You do realize he bought the rights to it ends with us back in 2019 and spent years developing the movie? We didn’t see the day-to-day of that. Are people really this dumb? Blake and Ryan are actors and Justin produces and directs movies. Please tell me you know the difference. |
I agree with this. She also seems to have delusions that she’s doing a bunch of things that she’s actually not doing. Like for a while it seemed like she truly thought she wrote the rooftop scene? And then later we found out it was Ryan. In the latest document dump we found out that Sony kept referencing Blake as Ryan - they’d say, “she (Ryan)….” because it was clear every demand that she was making was just Ryan. It’s really ridiculous. She claims she edited, wrote, directed, produced. She didn’t do any of that. She flitted anrou set for a total of 16 days and tried to take credit. It’s sort of like her saying she spent seven years developing her hair care products when we found out from the paperwork that they approached her shortly before the launch and she signed her name to the brand in July 2024 as a licenser. It seems enough people are around her blowing smoke up her butt that she starts to believe it. |
He was hosting a podcast and writing/releasing a book during that time. He was very much in the public eye. |
| I saw Blake stuck on the Met staircase with no one wanting to help her. Persona Non Grata. |
She had a bunch of assistants to help her and she screeched at them so there is that. |
Some would say that laying low is a nature response during a lawsuit but that obviously eludes you. Maybe he should put on a speedo and stage a paper walk. |
