Lol they are going to attack you for saying pretty! |
Reading is hard. |
But this makes no sense. She sued for $160 million in damages because of bad publicity…. so bad publicity doesn’t matter why would she have sued? It’s a circular argument. Blake fans want it to be so but it’s just clearly not. You could see in the Sony execs exchange that it matters. As the head of Sony said, and I’m going to take his word over yours since that studio is paying him tons of millions of dollars to know these things, she won’t work again. What people are missing is that people don’t care if the public turns because it was a smear campaign or it was organic, the point is people don’t like Blake. And that’s exactly why she sued. She wanted get some money back for lost opportunities. These opportunities aren’t coming back. Ryan made a movie before all this that was supposed to be released in fall of 2025. Because of this whole mess it was postponed to 2026. Because the mess continued on, it’s now been bumped to 2027. Studios don’t do this out of the kindness of their heart. If Ryan could get butts in seats, they would release the movie. They’re hedging their bets that maybe in a year things will blow over and it will be better. Paramount also did not renew a first look development contract with him. These people are not in demand right now. You can argue all you want, but that’s just how it is. |
| Long story short: Lively and Reynolds were milked by their team (management, crisis PR, consultants, attorneys, etc.) for TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS like the gullible uneducated egomaniac morons they are. Total suckers. |
Do you think wayfarer lawyers work for free? |
BL and RR chose to pursue this. JB didn’t have a choice to defend. Duh |
He could have settled quietly early on. That's what a lot of people do in cases like this. Instead he filed a countersuit with virtually no legal merit. |
He didn’t want to settle and pay Blake for her phony balogne claims. Why can’t you understand that? Plus, his fees were bankrolled |
Sorowitz is worth over $3 billion. Defending this was definitely worth it. Plus, if you recall back in the beginning, lively accused him of gawking over her at the birthing scene. And remember, we found out he was never even on the premises during that scene? She is such a moron. But of course someone with 3 billion is going to defend that. |
And you are doing what exactly? |
Okay, and then she goes away and the general public won't see her anymore. I don't see the deep significance of this statement. A lot of people don't care at all and never will. |
I think banishing Baldoni and company to the basement to sit among cases of soft drinks at the premiere was the final straw. It seemed wrong at the time before anything else was revealed. I would be incensed if I had invested money in the movie. |
Yes, and they're rumored to be moving to London now. I wouldn't be surprised if the studio told him to lay low this so things cool off before the release date. A flop of a big budget movie like he makes can bankrupt a studio or contribute to that. He is beholden to the studio to help them make a profit. |
I have not made hundreds of posts on this thread, for one. |
DP here. Seems like you believe you are arguing with one poster on this thread. Alas, there are so very many of us. Because most people do not believe Blake and think she brought a frivolous lawsuit borne out of narcissism |
