You mean since the settlement? Certainly, you don’t mean since the lawsuit was filed. He’s been out plenty.

He and his family were in Hawaii and Costa Rica for long periods of time. He’s posed for pictures with fans periodically.

Ryan and Blake could learn a thing or two instead of being so thirsty for paparazzi.

No, not talking about being "spotted" on vacation. I mean doing something work related. Someone upthread said he's amassed a bunch of "fans" on social media during all this. But what are they fans of? Him vacationing in Hawaii? That's not a job.

Ryan and Blake have been working. Ryan does interviews and press for his projects, like the John Candy documentary. Blake promoted her Simple favor sequel, and she's returned to the Meg Gala, which is an event/organization she's been involved with for a long time. What does Baldoni do? What's his job? Will we ever hear from him again?

Some would say that laying low is a nature response during a lawsuit but that obviously eludes you. Maybe he should put on a speedo and stage a paper walk.

Most people in their 40s don't go on a 2 year vacation even if they are involved in litigation. You get on with your actual life.

You don't get it. He's fee fees were VERY hurt by his behavior being exposed. The little boy within him was crying inside.

Anonymous wrote:"We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard."

You don't make this concession on a frivolous lawsuit. There would be no reason to do so. This sentence strongly indicates that Wayfarer felt they had more to lose at trial than Lively did.

This statement doesn’t say what you seem to think it does

It says her concerns deserved to be heard. Which means her concerns were not lies, were not exaggerated or trumped up, were not a manipulation to take over a movie.

It validates her.

Notice the statement doesn't validate any of Baldoni's or Wayfarer's defenses.

Of course it validates her. There is no universe which it doesn't. What does not do: offer a shred of validation for Baldoni or Wayfarer.

There is no apology, or mention of sexual harassment or retaliation. On the other hand, she walked away with zero dollars. I’ve been a litigator for over two decades and have never seen a plaintiff walk away without even a nuisance payment. It’s a huge loss for her.

Clearly you don't understand how celebrity PR works. Her reputation was supported by the statement; his wasn't. That is the most important win she needed. She may be tarnished, but no studio will risk liability with the "challenges" he poses and he has no representation. The manosphere will support him--see this thread--but from a professional perspective he was crushed.

Side note, I don’t know why you continue to insist that only “manosphere” types would be on Justin’s side. I’m a liberal progressive feminist woman. I’m a practicing layer and mother to tweens. And I can’t stand Blake and I think she is an awful person and has done a disservice to women who suffer real harassment.

I was harassed at work and vehemently disagree.

That’s fine, you can certainly disagree. But women are allowed to have their opinions and dislike another woman without being part of the “manosphere”

But the manosphere does support him even if you don't claim to be a part of that group. Separate things.

Dp and I don’t even know what the manosphere is.

I do know that Blake’s case fell apart, and the she walked away with no money instead of presenting what Blake bots insisted was the strongest part of her case.

Weird that Baldoni didn't stick around to win this totally winnable slam dunk case.
.

You don’t know how a lawsuit works obviously

His name will forever be tarnished and remembered for his part in this. He certainly didn't get to clear his name.

I see the Blake bots are stuck in the denial stage. He got 10 of 13 of her claims dismissed. She chose to walk away from the remainder for zero dollars. No one does that unless their case sucks.

How many of his claims were dismissed again?

It doesn’t matter. He wasn’t the one spreading lies to the NY Times. The fact that her claims were dismissed are what he cares about. His reputation is just fine, she’s the one exposed as a liar.

She didn't lie. The NY Times is substantiated by text messages. Wayfarer acknowledged her concerns deserved to be brought to light.

Oh my god, this. The insanity on this thread is concerning. Though I think there is one extra-strident voice responsible for most of this.

You are right, the Blake bots are totally delusional, and it wouldn’t be surprising if it were only one.

Do you parents know you're out of the basement?

I’m 47 and in my office so I guess they do

Have a very serious job, do you? And an active family/social life in the evenings?

And you are doing what exactly?

I have not made hundreds of posts on this thread, for one.

DP here. Seems like you believe you are arguing with one poster on this thread. Alas, there are so very many of us. Because most people do not believe Blake and think she brought a frivolous lawsuit borne out of narcissism

DP. And yet the settlement statement states clearly that her concerns deserved to be heard. Also the court had several opportunities to throw out her lawsuit as frivolous and did not.

It did toss Baldoni's entire countersuit though.

I’m sure two years of negative headlines, $50 million in legal fees, broken friendships, and having your acting career dry up are absolutely worth a lawyer vaguely saying your concerns deserved to be heard.
.

I think Blake got too big for her britches. And I kind of get it. She was hanging out with A-listers. Although I cannot stand him, her husband is (was) rich and powerful. She was good friends with the biggest star in the world for god’s sake. Add on the fact that just about everyone in Hollywood is narcissistic and especially when a nepo baby, who could blame her for thinking she could do whatever the heck she wanted. I think she sort of lucked into most of what she had though and it was all by association. For better or worse, her marriage made her feel more important than she really was. She isn’t outrageously talented or special in any way. Most of us aren’t. Reality has come crashing down.

I agree with this. She also seems to have delusions that she’s doing a bunch of things that she’s actually not doing. Like for a while it seemed like she truly thought she wrote the rooftop scene? And then later we found out it was Ryan. In the latest document dump we found out that Sony kept referencing Blake as Ryan - they’d say, “she (Ryan)….” because it was clear every demand that she was making was just Ryan.

It’s really ridiculous. She claims she edited, wrote, directed, produced. She didn’t do any of that. She flitted anrou set for a total of 16 days and tried to take credit. It’s sort of like her saying she spent seven years developing her hair care products when we found out from the paperwork that they approached her shortly before the launch and she signed her name to the brand in July 2024 as a licenser. It seems enough people are around her blowing smoke up her butt that she starts to believe it.

Or maybe she’s been a lying power drunk cruel scam artist nepo baby her entire career. Even her marriage is probably a sham.

You do realize he bought the rights to it ends with us back in 2019 and spent years developing the movie? We didn’t see the day-to-day of that.

Are people really this dumb? Blake and Ryan are actors and Justin produces and directs movies. Please tell me you know the difference.

He was hosting a podcast and writing/releasing a book during that time. He was very much in the public eye.

Yes, maybe you haven’t heard that a narcissistic maniac and her husband arranged to have his agency drop him and convinced his podcast partner to quit by giving her her own production company at said maniac husband’s address. They also went around town calling him a sexual predator, and went to the New York Times to write an article without any context or talking to anyone besides said narcissistic maniac about how he sexually harassed her.

So yeah, some opportunities dried up for him. Turns out the court threw everything out, and it was all a sham, but yeah, she definitely tried to ruin his life and succeeded somewhat, for seemingly no reason since she got nothing out of it.

Oh well. Off to the Met Gala to yell at minions who aren’t handling my train correctly!

Some really powerful people started some bad rumors about them. Turns out they weren’t true, but yeah, he definitely had to lay low for a while.

It seems like now that the lawsuit is over, and his name has been cleared he will be back developing, producing and directing films.

This has been a mess and it’s unlikely we’ll ever see Blake or Justin in front of the camera again. Oh well. I suppose we’ll all move on.

She had a bunch of assistants to help her and she screeched at them so there is that.

The two assistants helping her with her train, one was her cousin. But after they left, she couldn’t get up the stairs and no one was helping her. Then she started holding up the line for people moving up the stairs, so someone came to get her off, but yeah, she was pretty much shunned at the event and she did not go to any after parties.

Her former bestie Gigi was there and they didn’t have any interactions.

The comedians are once again going off with the parodies of Blake on the Met red carpet. Hilarious.
