Really? I find him to be one of the most eloquent members of the family. For a son who is grieving, I found this very well-done and moving.

It was obviously heartfelt rather than rehearsed. It was lovely.

I think Charles will be a stabilizing head of the BRF, and William’s family will provide the more youthful connection that seems to resonate with people (family, fashion, and personal appearances).

Nah...the Commonwealth Nations will fight to abolish the monarchy when Elizabeth's reign in over. We like the Queen...she is like our benevolent grandmother but we don't want Charles or William.

At this point being part of the commonwealth is an asset for any outside Big strong countries.
No advantage for the big ones. Hor them it is decorative formality.

Anne was better - also grieving and wearing proper mourning black.

We’re ranking the grieving children now?

I mean - isn't that what the royal family's for?

Charles is well-known to have been a horrible father in his own kid's childhood and didn't get along with Phillip (who thought he was weak) in his own youth. Its weird to me how families will butt heads for decades but when one dies the waterworks come out.

NOT BRF expert but was it like shown in The crown.. one gets an impression that Mountbatten was just a tad too much wedging his fatherly love between Phillip and Charles? Was it because his ambitions did not not fully realized when Phillip did not get the King title. the Mountnatten name did not got a status he expected etc.. so looks like he moved on to influence Charles at, what seemed the expense of Phillip/ Charles relationship.

Yeah okay. I'll believe it when another woman stops living rent-free in British heads.

I am very surprised at this. I wonder which of Phillip’s friends are still alive?

If you add us the age of Prince Philip when he married, to the years of his marriage to the Queen...it adds up to his age at death. 99 years.

Yeah someone earlier mentioned that the ages of Charles wives together is 99.

And Phillip died on the 9th day of the 99th day of the year or something. It’s weird.

What are some of the benefits to these countries?

Well, yes. Because he was 99 and had one wife. That is math.

That can't be right. 36 plus 73 =109

What a bizarre question. Do you only have friends the exact same age as you?

I am surprised by this as well. It seems borderline disrespectful.

He has a large family. I don't think it's disrespectful given that they were likely not close.

Thank you!

Do be careful to look for it in your time zone. It is not 3PM in the U.S.

I will, thank you.
