"Few thousand" = 10% = 50,000

That's because China and South Korea have reacted MUCH more vigorously than we are, have more capacity and willingness to take drastic measures, and, in the case of South Korea (and maybe even China) have better medical systems than the U.S.

Actually Ebola was much scarier, mortality rate was over 60 percent and it easily spread to health care workers. There was a few weeks where things looked extremely dangerpus

They trend upwards until enough people have had it and cleared the virus from their systems that herd immunity kicks in. If you want to compare us to China then you really need to start seeing the steps China took happen here. Everyone is locked in their homes and only one person may leave once a month to get food. Those draconian steps will NEVER EVER EVER happen here.

I read that it was because Ebola was so dangerous to an individual, and everybody who got it showed symptoms, it was much easier to control the spread.

You can tell who the Fox News viewers are. Yes, Fox was needlessly hysterical about Ebola because it helped their anti-Obama agenda. And now those same Fox viewers don't believe that coronavirus is a problem because they were fooled before.
