Sure it can. I'm watching DC-16 on channel 1086 on DC Comcast. Will also be lived streamed at washingtonpost.com and via the mayor's Twitter feed. (Still hasn't started.) |
If it is community transmission then that is really bad. Wonder how many more people have it. |
Until this week, states weren’t allowed to test unless the persons had gone to China and some other restrictive criteria from dC. This article in the Atlantic suggests that only a few thousand people in the Us have been tested in the US. The CDC has refused to release number of people tested so the authors called each state health center. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/607597/ |
Maybe it’s Trump!? |

Someone in that room keep coughing. I would def not want to be in that room right now. |
Community transmission in San Francisco since FEBRUARY 11! https://www.sfchronicle.com/health/article/Coronavirus-may-have-been-circulating-in-15114035.php |
come on mayor - i don't have all day. |
Is being this late normal for her? |
The cruise ship's doctor (who obviously has a bit of a bias) has said that he saw that pt on Feb 20 and the patient said he had symptoms for 6-7 days. The cruise ship doctor said that his belief is that it takes 3-4 days from exposure to first symptoms that the pt had to be exposed before he came on board on the 11th. However it is quite possible he was exposed on the first or second day of the trip. No one knows yet where he caught it from. Speculation from the Cruise ship's doctor that it couldn't have been on his boat is not evidence of anything. |
Boom. No history of international travel. It is all over DC. |
DC man in fifties became sick late February. No travel contacts--so community transmission. Went to area hospital around March 4. (Think I have that right.) |
