DC: First COVID-19 Case Confirmed

All of these results are lagging even more than I realized. A friend was tested on Thursday and doesn’t have results yet. Another friend’s wife was tested Sunday and told to expect results Thursday. She’s a healthcare provider. That’s crazy.

Yep. DH tested on Friday. No results as of tonight. Hoping we will get them tomorrow, but no promises. I have the same
symptoms and we and our kids have been self quarantined since last Wednesday.

TV news just reported that Children's said one of their doctors had contracted the virus. Wondering if that is the new case.

Those who wrote about waiting for their (or other people) results, did you get it? Because DC only have on test pending!

For sure. There’s no way it’s 30. It’s easily 3000 in DC by now.

I wish we got more info on these listings. Many companies and Organizations are publishing when an employee got sick. Need to tie together data so people can better assess their own exposure in the past few weeks.

Yes. Sadly it will take healthy middle aged or young people dying for people to take this seriously. Look atFrance where most ICU cases are UNDER 60.

We don't even know whether they're "self-quarantining at home" or in the ICU? Whether they were sick when tested, or what prompted the testing?
WE NEED THAT INFORMATION.

Agree. I get not publishing names or addresses but why don’t they say “Person 29 works at X, frequented this place on Tuesday, this place on Wednesday, etc” ?
