Maybe I'm naive as parent to a younger elementary kid, but what parents let their kids watch this vapid crap?

You are naive.

At a certain age your child is going to watch stuff you don’t agree with.

OP, don't worry: my daughter is 11.5 and she still only gets online for homework purposes, within my sight. You do not have to throw up your hands at any preset point and say, "Ahh, well! Kids will be kids!"

LMAO Your daughter is in 5th grade. Sit down.

Yikes!

This could be gold for her daughter to make a comeback on youtube. I guarantee millions of people would tune in her visit with mommy in jail for the Schadenfreude. They need to all reinvent themselves as humble and remorseful. There is probably some clothing line or something out there called something like "second chances" that would pay Olivia Jade her for endorsement if she became popular again.

If Lori doesn't come back as a more humble, down to earth and highly remorseful person her only chance of making a buck would be porn.

I dunno, Jared Kushner's dad was in jail and do you think it made him a more honest person?

Something tells me the daughter couldn't just roll into prison and do a Facebook or IG live. And judging from the backlash so far, I'd say no one cares enough about her for a comeback. She's a laughingstock. That girl is gonna have a tough life being taken seriously at anything, she's really lucky her family is wealthy.

She could film mom's release from prison.

"OMG you guys. I'm gonna spill some tea for you people dying to know the update on our totally not fabulous life. This a big day. Totally stoked. My mom, who most of you know as Aunt Becky and a fraudster and criminal, is getting out of the big house today. No botox available in prison my mom is totally fire and a snack. (Remember the lingo I taught you.) Some of you may be sus about why she is getting out so early. Well I used my youtube earnings from before everyone dropped me to hire a lawyer with some serious clout."

This was exactly what I imagined it would be - and she's get 6 months or so shaved off for good behavior/early release.

"Federal sentencing guidelines for fraud are primarily based on the amount of money involved, how sophisticated the fraud was what role the person played in the alleged scheme, and whether they were the ‘leader, middle, [or] low-end,'” Pate said.

With that in mind, Loughlin could look at "37-46 months if convicted at trial” and between “27-33 months [if she enters a] guilty plea.”

based on this statement, most of DCUM should also be in therapy....for serious control issues + anxiety.

+ 1,000

Pretty much.

Most of DCUM is.

90% of the threads in the Relationship forum start and stop with 'you need to go counseling alone AND couple's counseling - start tomorrow, it changed my life'.

Okay Betsy Sue, maybe its time you married your therapist.

This is only the tip of this scandal and it really doesn't have anything to do with college applications. It will all come out. You don't get that high a bond unless it involves other things.

Boy LL's friends are ratting her out left and right. She is angry at the guy who d the FBI (duh, but makes her sound like an entitled jerk) and other friends said she was very into looking perfect to the outside world. Se comes across as a total narcissist.

I was wondering the same

Don't believe it for a minute. Have you ever read Steve Jobs' daughter's account of her college process and how it took a different turn once it was known who her father was? These colleges know that rich celebrity admits = money. Sure, they may also be smart, etc. But, there are lots of smart, ambitious kids who could have easily filled a slot but didn't b/c their last name isn't Couric, Lowe, or Bush.

How much real traction do you think the class action lawsuit will get.
