Girls ID Season 26/27 Thread

I do feel bad for all these current girls VDA is stringing along in 2013-2012... I know several. They are going to be left without teams. Did they get honest feedback in their mid years about whether they should look?

Also posted in the boys forum after an Arlington post tonight , but it does a massive disservice to these kids making private choices for their own development to post photos and videos of ID sessions.

Someone posted photos of ID sessions. Way out of bounds. Any club that did that should also be out of bounds.

VDA will string players along even when they are almost certain they won’t have them back…and if the kid misses opportunities to try out other places, “oh, well”! Pretty shtty.

Don’t be naive. Kids from all kinds of clubs, either through mergers, league changes, and the resulting changes to other clubs based on these, have been documenting the chaos, and all the IDs they have been forced to endure for 4 years. No one likes any of these changes. It is bad for almost everyone. Go to lots of IDs. A couple of age groups have had to go though this nonsense for years. If you haven’t followed along and signed your DC up for every ID, you haven’t been paying attention. Only a couple of clubs have had stability the last few years, and even those are about to experience the fun this year. Rumor is that those clubs are going to experience the defections to club hop this year. Try out everywhere.

lol who in their right mind would go to McLean. They just let their best 2012 player go to another club, their 2013s are the fill-in’s for when Danny robbed them, and the 2014s are coached by a team manager with a tiara. The club is a joke - wasn’t always that way and will one day probably be good again but right now they are misguided.

Arlington posted pictures of its boys ID session on X. Don’t recall clubs doing that in the past. Bad form!
