The agreement was made between the two campaigns, not Trump and Biden personally. And it's still the same campaign, just with Harris at the top of the ticket.

Agreement was made between campaigns, but agreement is made for Trump to debate Biden. The agreement does not state GOP nominee will debate DNC nominee, it has names. Biden/Kamala campaign now violating the agreement trying to substitute Biden by Kamala. If they want to stick to the agreement, they need to send Biden to the debates.

All of this just continues to prove how terrified you all are at the thought of trump debating Harris!

Your response just a proof how democrats cannot follow the agreement, the law and order. Don’t become emotional and throw “terrified “ into your argument. You either stick to the agreement your party made, or you are in violation of the agreement. Terrified or not is irrelevant. But when the facts are not on your side, you become emotional.

There is no agreement to debate on Fox, you Lying Liar who Lies, and casting Harris stepping up as the candidate as an attempt to broach the existing debate agreement is, well, weird.

Reading comprehension amrite? The agreement was made between Biden/Harris campaign with Trump campaign that BIDEN will debate Trump on ABC.

That's a copout and you know it. Trump's a coward, afraid to debate Harris outside of a friendly venue like Fox. Period.

DP
I just love when people state an opinion, then end it with “Period.” Like that makes it a fact.

And what is she scared of debating on Fox? Does she sees it as a disadvantage some how?

Why should she have to? The Democratic campaign never agreed to any debate on Fox. The Republican campaign, on the other hand, did previously agree to a debate on ABC.

You sound scared.

^^
Example #1

Example of what? Harris will show up for the ABC debate and Trump will not. That is to both of their advantages. He avoids getting shellacked and she gets high visibility coverage for her campaign.

Example of becoming emotional.

It’s interesting you use that as an insult. President Trump loves to talk about big men, strong men, tears in their eyes. Now emotional is supposed to be an insult?

It’s not an insult at all. But when talking political issues, I prefer facts to emotions. But that’s just me.

The only real fact here is that Trump is desperate not to debate Kamala on 9/10… hmm.. 🧐

If you call that a fact, there is no real discussion to be had here.

Fact: Trump was willing to debate Joe Biden any time, any place.
Fact: Trump is only willing to debate Kamala Harris under his preferred conditions.
You do the math.

Well if we’re doing math, we must factor in the concessions that Trump and his team made to make it easy on Joe Biden. Remember all that? So with that part of the equation factored in, he has every right to name his conditions this time.
And just to be clear, this is my opinion. This is not a fact.

I haven't seen any evidence that Trump's campaign agreed to the concessions to make it easy on Biden. Of the two 2020 debates the first had no mute button while the second did, and Trump performed much better in the second one. Or maybe Trump agreed to the concessions because he was confident he would get the better of Biden no matter what the rules were. And he was right. He beat Biden like a drum. But for whatever reason he doesn't have that same confidence now that Harris is his opponent.

The agreement was between Trump and Biden. The dems changed the debate's terms first when they did a last minute switcheroo, so why should Trump honor the terms of the original agreement? And what honest debate are you talking about? Everyone and their mother know that ABC is pro Harris, so does that mean that she's only willing to debate him under favorable conditions for her with her hosts and her crowd? Is she also a loser?

She is a winner. Sorry but if trump can not handle an ABC news debate he can't handle the presidency. But the debate will help her with or without him.

She did not win anything. She was installed.

It does not matter if trump says that. He won't be at the debate and she will get the entire platform to herself to explain why she is the much better choice for president.

I just talked to my mother and neither of us was aware that ABC is pro-Harris. Were they pro-Biden too?

Have you not watched the debate????

Kamala has no reason to be scared of Trump. He is a loser, and she will come as a winner at any place, at any time and on any terms. This is so obvious, I don’t understand why people still arguing about this. She will debate him on his terms because she will win regardless .

Will chickenshit coward Trump show up and debate Harris Sept. 10 on ABC, with no “audience,” just a moderator, as he previously planned to do with Biden?

If not, why not? What is he afraid of?

I watched the Trump-Biden debate on CNN. Is that the debate you're talking about?

You are one of the posters who viciously claimed Trump wouldn’t show up to debate Biden. Over and over again, posting Trump was too scared to debate Biden.
