Right up there with “Hillary is going to be our first female president! We’ve got this one in the bag!”

“I’m with her!”

According to dcum/dems, Trump wasn’t going to show up to debate Biden.

According to dcum/dems, Trump was terrified to debate Biden.

According to dcum/dems, even if Trump showed up to the Biden debate, he would storm out in tantrums after Biden masterfully dismantled him on live tv.

It’s like gaslighting groundhog day.

This is what the hivemind must chant to keep its sanity.

She will not have had an interview for 40 DAYS after announcing her campaign.

No interviews? Lol Kamala has plenty of time. (announces interview with white male running mate.)

No platform? Pshaw, it would just be fodder for MAGA to criticize. (Kamala can’t get it together enough to compile a platform and isn’t tough enough to get in the ring and take criticism. Geezus.)

No press conferences? Kamala is giving prompter speeches at rallies, no press conferences needed. (She took a respite in DC last weekend instead of campaigning.)

Will Walz be on stage with her at the debate? Stay tuned.

So the Harris campaign continues to pressure ABC to change the rules for the Sept. 10 debate. After weeks of insisting that the two campaigns needed to follow the agreements made with Biden’s, now Harris’, team. She knows she can’t handle this on her own.

What is she so scared of happening??

Jeez. It’s embarrassing as a woman (and I detest her).

At this point, I hate to say it, but Trump supporters have set the bar so low for Kamala that if she doesn't shit herself on stage, she wins.

I dislike her, but why do you people keep mentioning prompters like Republicans don't use them? It's such a stupid argument that I've seen being used for years by dummies. And we've seen what happens when trump DOESN'T use his. You should stop embarrassing yourselves with that one. It doesn't even make sense.

Harris is not the second coming of Obama, but I think she'll be fine in a normal politician being able to convey her talking points sort of way. Trump will lie and lie and lie and no one will call him out on it. In the end, both sides will claim victory, and this won't move the needle.

This. If you read news from real sources, it's clear the Harris campaign is needling Trump, trying to get him to overrule his handlers and debate with mics on so he'll do his typical lying and rambling, and also, probably so she can say "Donald, I'm speaking."

The sitting down notes thing is a weird made-up lie, but I think it will back fire when everyone sees how great she does without those things.

But, in the end, I'm not sure any of this will matter. Then again, it's inconceivable to me how anyone could be "undecided" in this election, so maybe this willmatter to some people in a way my brain can't comprehend.

None of it will matter unless she comes out very strong on inflation, crime/safety, and immigration.

Agree. Though staying mum is driving Trump crazy. No new fuels to the fire.

It's not driving him crazy. Nature abhors a vacuum, so Trump is filling it with all of Harris' past statements. No amount of statements from unnamed Harris campaign staffers will negate this. In fact, her "my values haven't changed" from her interview will be the line at Trump campaign ads that show past clips of her.

Democrats simply have to run Trump’s whiplash-inducing flip flops on abortion.

Kamala Harris:

Vice President Harris took another swing at former President Trump Saturday over the back-and-forth around the rules of the upcoming debate, claiming he is “surrendering to his advisors” by supporting muted mics.

“Donald Trump is surrendering to his advisors who won’t allow him to debate with a live microphone,” Harris said in a post on social media platform X. “If his own team doesn’t have confidence in him, the American people definitely can’t.”

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are set to square off in their first presidential debate next month, but the campaigns are still warring over logistics - namely relating to the microphones.

Trump's campaign is pushing for the microphones to be muted when it is the other person's turn to speak. This is a rule that was originally requested by Joe Biden when he was the Democratic candidate.
Trump's team ultimately agreed to the request.

“As of Thursday night, however, there’s still no agreement between the Trump and Harris camps on the rules for the Sept. 10 debate hosted by ABC News.“

What? I thought the rules Trump and Biden had agreed upon were to be used?

Kamala wants to deviate from the agreed upon rules. That’s the height of hypocrisy.
