It’s not clear. Thats the funny part. But keep telling yourself it is. That’ll get you through the day.

It is ABSOLUTELY clear. Prove otherwise. The only way you can do that is to post a statement from Trump saying he will honor the debate. And you can't do that.

“ Trump told reporters earlier this week he wants to debate Harris but has not yet agreed to anything.

“I haven’t agreed to anything. I agreed to a debate with Joe Biden,” Trump said on a press call. “But I want to debate with her, and she’ll be no different because they have the same policies. I think debating is important for a presidential race, I really do. You sort of have an obligation to debate.”

That’s a good point. What is different about Kamala?

Nothing. It was a smart move on Trumps part to point out the disarray of the Dems by saying he won’t debate until the candidate is finalized.

After all the problems trying to get Biden to drop out, the rumors, false reports, and general disagreement within the democrat party, I find it odd that somehow this is Trump’s fault. Democrats couldn’t get their stuff together. Everyday it was something new. It was unprecedented and frankly shocking. Mass confusion at the highest levels that democrats created. Now democrats have finally settled on a candidate, and they are about to officially nominate her, they are whining about Trump? Look in a mirror occasionally. Geez.

Actually the Democrats do not seem to be in disarray at all. Harris's team has come out swinging. Endorsements are coming through like clockwork. Messaging is clear.

I still want Harris to challenge Trump to a test of basic Constitutional knowledge. He seems to lack it and how can you debate someone on the higher points of policy when they lack the foundational skills?

I found some questions here under Principles of American Government:

Which of the following best illustrates the concept of “separation of powers” in the US Constitution?

A) Congress can pass a measure, while the Supreme Court can declare it unconstitutional
B) Congress can pass a measure, while the president can veto it
C) Mississippi can set educational policy for its students, while California can set education policy for its students
D) Congress has authority over the federal budget, while the president appoints Supreme Court justices

The people that deserve the most blame for this 2024 election cycle mess are the numb skulls that were duped into voting for Trump and Biden in 2020.

No, once again, the voters are not at fault.

How many times are you going to blame the voters?

Why do you feel they are at fault?

I agree with PP. How can you not blame them?

What do you think voters should do to fix this problem?

It's not an easy problem to fix but for starters, it would be best if people didn't vote for candidates that clearly have no business holding the position of most powerful person in the world for the term they are seeking. This would obviously apply to the elderly Trump and Biden when they were seeking the POTUS position in 2020 yet 155 million people were somehow duped into voting for them. If and when our two major parties suddenly see a drop of 50 million votes from the previous election, then and only then will they clean up their act and make an effort to put forth candidates that are qualified and fit to serve as most powerful person in the world. Why? Because at that point there are 50 million votes out there to claim simply by functioning as we expect out major political parties to function.

Ok, how are you going to convince 50 million people to not vote? What’s your plan? Details?

I'm not telling people not to vote. I am simply suggesting that people only vote for people that are qualified and fit to serve in the most powerful position in the world for the next 4 year to 8 years. Many, many people didn't follow that logic in 2020 and here we are.

Who are you voting for in 2024? Are you voting or staying home?

None of your business who I'm voting for but I'm certainly not voting for someone that would be serving as POTUS into their 80s. That's ludicrous. Amazing how so many people can't understand why that's ludicrous.

But it’s your business who everyone else votes for? How is that? You can judge others as numbskulls but don’t even have the conviction to tell people who you think is the non-numbskull candidate?

You are a Trump hater and have been complaining he won’t drop out. We see you, you fool no one. Except yourself.

I WISH that was the most ludicrous part of this nightmare. The man is saying he’ll be a dictator. He’s saying if you vote for him now, you won’t have to vote anymore. I don’t understand how anyone who claims to value freedom and democracy can still listen to what he’s saying and still vote for him. How brainwashed does one need to be?

I'm not voting for anyone that is clearly unfit to serve as president for the term they are seeking and I hope my fellow Americans will begin to do the same. Is that too much to ask?

So you're saying that if instead of 80 million to 76 million (or whatever the numbers were), if Biden won 8 million to 7 million, there'd be a whole lot of soul searching, and 'OMG, we better not field these types of candidates' instead of 'YAY, we won!!!'? Oh please!

Yes! Of course there would be some very much so needed soul searching. Instead of soul searching since 2020, our major parties have nominated the same most awful candidate ever for a 3rd consecutive election and a soon to be nominee that is a last minute replacement for the unfit incumbent we elected four years ago. None of this is okay and this type of performance out of our two parties should not be praised and rewarded!

So Trump has been at this for months, spent tens of millions of dollars and did tons of rallies and campaign events - this is as good as it will ever get for him.

Harris on the other hand is only a week in, has barely even spent a penny and is already tied with Trump in the polls. It will only keep getting better for her.

pp is a democrat who pretends they are against the system but just wants Trump to drop out or lose.

pp: the system sucks, both candidates suck

nobody should vote

wait I didn’t say nobody should vote

people are numbskulls and it’s their fault

I won’t tell anyone who I am voting for but it’s definitely Harris

Every day the same democrat posts this garbage. Grow up.

But you personally are voting, it’s just the other people who shouldn’t vote?

Why are you voting but telling others to not vote?

Trump's campain seems the one in disarray.

1000 percent. Is he going to show up and debate Harris?

I found some questions here under Principles of American Government:

Which of the following best illustrates the concept of “separation of powers” in the US Constitution?

A) Congress can pass a measure, while the Supreme Court can declare it unconstitutional
B) Congress can pass a measure, while the president can veto it
C) Mississippi can set educational policy for its students, while California can set education policy for its students
D) Congress has authority over the federal budget, while the president appoints Supreme Court justices

And, she should also challenge trump to a spelling bee.

And Trump is still too chickenshit to debate Kamala.

+1

If democrats are so worried about the debate schedule they should have fielded an appropriate candidate.

lol. Yeah, right. He pulled out of the debate because he knows TV: It doesn't matter what either of them say, he's going to look older than dirt next to her. Plus he's lost his fast ball, he's nowhere near as zany and funny as he was in 2015-16.
