Holeee sheeeeitttt!

That right there exposes what a bunch of BS this whole thing is. Basically these MAGA nutjobs, while on the federal government's payroll, and with security clearances, helped storm the US Capitol on January 6th in a pro-Trump coup attempt, along with trying to protect and cover for others who violently attacked our Capitol. And now they are trying to play the victim, whining that they had their security clearances yanked. And now they are appearing as PAID shills at this absolute clown show of a hearing, trying to claim this is somehow "weaponization against the right wing?" Utter bullshit. How about, don't violently attack the Capitol, don't attempt illegal coups, you idiots. ILLEGITIMATE. Shut this BS down. Jim Jordan, Comer and the rest should be censured for this absolute crap.

Breaking news: Whistleblowers blow the whistle against the government because they were caught by the government attacking the US Capitol in an illegal coup attempt.

This is like a toddler being scolded for climbing precariously on furniture and going into the cookie jar for the 5th time after already being told not to, and then pouting and whining "YOU'RE A BAD MOMMY!"

Oh look, these "whistleblowers" are actually right wing nut jobs who were trying to run interference for January 6 defendants: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/05/17/fbi-agents-testify-security-clearances/

This is exactly why this hearing is necessary. The linked article is based totally on what the FBI says. The claims these gentlemen have are against the FBI and appear very credible. Of course the bureau will send out PR statements trying to discredit them. Even if those statements contain lies.

Dude, Stephen Friend downloaded FBI documents to an unauthorized USB drive. He’s lucky he’s not getting prosecuted.

It’s a classic move to claim you are a whistleblower after getting caught doing something bad.

Dude, Agent Friend was on the fbi human resources web page downloading the employee handbook and non classified. The FBI deemed it to be on a classified because the server in Florida that it was downloaded to is classified. Classic switch-a-roo bureaucracy...

Did I say they were classified? I did not. You can’t buy a USB drive at Walgreens and bring it into a secure office and download any information onto it.

+1 The guy wasn’t authorized to give interviews and talked to Sputnik, FFS. People get fired for talking to reporters about company business when they’re not supposed to all the time.

They did NOT storm the Capitol.
And, the money they received was so their families could survive since the FBI revoked their security clearances which would not allow them to work and then would not approve any employment so they couldn't get another job.
The way these 3 were treated and totally SLANDERED by the FBI is shameful. The FBI is trying desperately to cover their butts because they aren't used to having others hold them accountable.

One of yesterday’s “whistleblowers” was indeed in a restricted area of the Capitol, very near where rioters were using weapons against the police, and lied when asked where he was.

Which one?

Garret O'Boyle, Steve Friend, or Marcus Allen?

Not one of those. PP named another whistleblower.

And, it is one thing for FBI to fire these guys. But, the treatment after firing is indefensible. Transferring a guy and firing him the day he arrived at a new station and not allowing access to his goods? That is beyond vengeful.
