PP you're responding to. So does my district councilmember, and yet you're not obsessively tracking my councilmember's tweets. Weird. There's also the issue that MCPD said they dispersed the Proud Boys, but it seems they did not actually do that. |
Does MCPD only deal with assaults when they are called before they happen? Also why did they lie about dispersing the Proud Boys? |
| MCPD are clearly visible in the background of several photos. Watching. |

Whatever one thinks about the value of drag queen story hour... she is allowed to support the event, and keep it a safe space for all participants.
The Proud Boys are a hate organization who have no place in Maryland, ever. I asked the question about the fire, because she routinely tweets about national, state, and other things outside of her council district. That one seems relevant. |
You asked the questions about the fire to distract from the fact that MCPD stood by to and watched white supremacists assault people including a member of the county council |
Nooo... I asked whether a councilmember made any comment at all about a large fire a few miles away, in downtown silver spring. If the MCPD did not act appropriately with the idiot proud boys, then I hope there are consequences. |
Do you live in Montgomery County? It seems you're a bit fuzzy about Montgomery County geography. |
Why yes I do- east county. District 3 is not too far from DTSS. Straight shot down 29 in fact. Why the semantic argument here? |
You might look at a map of the county, noting the location of Loyalty Books (where MCPD apparently watched white supremacists assault people including a member of the County Council) and of the apartment building currently called Arrive Silver Spring (where the fire was). |
|
You are completely missing my point (I assume on purpose).
The geopgraphic distance between the drag story hour, and the apartment fire is totally meaningless. She represents Moco, Silver Spring specifically. My question was- did she tweet anything about the fire? Resources for residents displaced, thanks to the FD etc. You can focus on more than one major event- at least in terms of social media, if you are a councilperson. |
Per a map- they are a whopping .4 miles away. Not sure what the point is though. |
Correct, they're both right there in downtown Silver Spring. You have an axe to grind with Kristin Mink, which you could have made sharper, if you had been more concerned about the fire you're concerned she didn't express concern on Twitter about. |

There. That's an example. |
This. Smells like someone who is an outsider trying to stir up an issue. |
