US Capitol Breached by Trump's lunatics

Colorado court said there was no evidence of this in their ruling that Trump was an insurrectionist.

“Trump has frequently insisted he called for 10,000 troops (sometimes it’s inflated as 20,000) to keep the peace on Jan. 6, 2021…Christopher Miller, then the acting secretary of defense, testified under oath to the Jan. 6 committee that there was no such order for troops from Trump, according to the report.

But two days before the violence erupted, Trump insisted that he should accompany protesters on a march to the Capitol aimed at blocking certification of Democrat Joe Biden’s presidential win, according to testimony from Max Miller, who was a White House senior adviser at the time.

That’s when Trump ‘floated the idea of having 10,000 National Guardsmen deployed to protect him and his supporters from any supposed threat from left-wing counterprotesters,’ recounted Miller, who said he told Trump it was a bad idea.”

Trump suggested using National Guardsmen to protect him and his supporters while they marched to the Capitol, but was no official order through proper channels.

And he certainly didn’t want the National Guard there in order to protect the certification, which is what traitors are hoping you’ll conclude.

It looks like the right wing is now strongly trying to push the idea that Trump requested the National Guard. Their polling must show that a significant number of would be Republican voters didn’t care for that whole “overthrow the government” fracas.

I fervently hope the Biden campaign plays clips of the worst of the Jan. 6 assault over and over again in campaign commercials—especially the parts where the “tourists” attack LEOs.

Appeals court in DC reversed an enhancement ruling for sentencing Jan 6ers, saying that they were overcharged.

Information in new report states that Trump did not try and grab the wheel as Cassidy Hutchinson stated:

“The driver of the SUV testified that he 'did not see him reach [redacted]. [President Trump] never grabbed the steering wheel. I didn’t see him, you know, lunge to try to get into the front seat at all.”

Apparently, Liz Cheney knew what the driver said as she was part of the interview.

“The House Democrat-led Jan. 6 committee withheld crucial evidence from the public, including witness interviews that conflicted with the testimony of star witness Cassidy Hutchinson and her claim then-President Donald Trump tried to commandeer his presidential SUV and take it to the U.S. Capitol that day, House Republicans declared in an explosive new report Monday.

The House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, chaired by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., released its first findings from its year-long probe into Capitol security failures on Jan. 6, 2021, and the initial Democrat effort to investigate the incident.”

Trump tried to get the Texas state guard to help him out. They just were not able to organize those guys.

It says something when you are too lazy to walk from the area around the Whitehouse to the Capitol at a head of a mob. What a lazy fat f’er. Glad you put your hopes and dreams in to him.

Capitol rioter who wanted to be 'lone-wolf killer' charged with violating anti-stalking order

“Although he was not charged with any violent crimes connected to the riot, federal investigators described Battisti – then Betancur – in charging documents as a self-professed white supremacist who wanted to be a “lone-wolf killer.”

“Betancur has voiced homicidal ideations, made comments about conducting a school shooting, and has researched mass shootings,” investigators wrote. “Betancur voiced support for James Fields, the individual convicted for killing [Heather Heyer] with his car during protests in Charlottesville, Virginia. Betancur has stated he wanted to run people over with a vehicle and kill people in a church.”

The whole "10,000 soldiers" thing is so weird. Apart from the fact that no, he didn't request it (and Pelosi didn't turn it down) - he was the Commander In Chief - at any point during the 3+ hours he dithered while watching the whole thing go down, he could have mobilized troops to secure the Capitol. He didn't.

The simplest, quickest, and most effective thing he could've done is to tell them all to stop immediately. But, he let it go on because he felt righteous anger at having the election stolen from him, even though several court cases and a couple of years later, there has been zero evidence that the election was stolen from him.

He cares more about his ego than our country. That has always been obvious to me even before he ran for POTUS in 2016.

He organized the insurrection. He asked them to come, and if Pence had left the Capitol, they would have been successful.

Let's not sugarcoat, this was a coup attempt.

If the fat man had gotten out of the car and walked the house and senate would have purged. Too bad trump is too lazy to walk a few blocks.

Also trump was president at the time. He could have ordered the Secret Service to take him to the Capitol. If the commander of the detail refused he could have been relieved and replaced. The Secret Service does not control the movements of the president. They can only make recommendations.

He also could have approved the entry into DC of the Maryland and Virginia National Guards, whom Hogan and Northam already had ready to go. He never did, I think Pence made that call.

Does anyone out there actually believe the jan6 people were actually going to overthrow the government?

Were you not watching the news on January 6th? You don't storm the Capitol building and bring guns because you are there for some light protesting.

Democrats should run commercials over and over with the footage.
