Every single person they have profiled to date has at minimum lost his job, and/of been charged (Weinstein, Schneiderman, Moonves).

This. Once Ronan has you in his crosshairs it’s game over.

Please do not ignore Jane Meyer in these stories. While Ronan is a prodigy and has done some excellent reporting, I would like us not to ignore Jane has done half the work. She deserves equal credit.

Charlie Piece: “Jane Meyer is a goddamn national treasure.”

She is the best investigative reporter in this country.

This all sets a very dangerous precedent. You don’t like a nominee? Scream #MeToo. You don’t like a pick for an administration position? Scream #MeToo.
I hope he does not withdraw because all the liberals here would say, “See, guilty as charged.” He needs to fight these charges. These women should be charg
ed for making false allegations.

Ronan Farrow has destroyed his reputation with this poorly sourced story. Avenatti was slimy to begin with. This only makes him less credible, which is a good thing.

It is all sketchy. And, it will be interesting to see if Dr. Ford appears on Thursday. It is clear now that this was a delay tactic.

This 100%.

This, what? He has a checkered past and it wasn't fully investigated. The White House and GOP Senate has tried to "plow" this through without proper vetting. Maybe next time, they should appoint someone who has been fully vetted. Gorusch didn't have these issues. You know why? He wasn't an asshole towards women in high school and college.

Stacy Washington is reporting that her FB posts are being dug up (internet is forever folks) and In March of 2017, Christine Blasey Ford posted on Facebook that someone needed to come forward an accuse Gorsuch of rape to derail his SCOTUS nomination. She further said such accusations should continue until Trump nominates Merrick Garland

This appears to be fake news. Unless you have better sourcing, Stacy Washington's Twitter feed simply shows her retweeting a meme from other person who appears to have deleted the original tweet. The meme doesn't even show a Facebook post, but simply makes the claim.

I can certainly see this reasoning, withdrawing gives MeToo more power, too much power. But Kavanaugh isn't a victim of MeToo. He's a victim of his own history, his own character, if he's a victim of anything.

I do think he could have been more honest during his hearing and he could have handled these allegations more successfully. Maybe then he would have been confirmed to the highest court in the land. Or maybe not. He's extremely conservative, yes, but not a great candidate.

BK is not the hill I want to die on. Pushing back against how the liberal Democrats have handled this whole process is the hill I am willing to die on. Liberals would have done this to anyone Trump nominated to replace Kennedy. Anyone. Trump could have nominated Mother Theresa and liberals would have dragged her through the mud. And for the record, I think what the Republicans did to Garland was wrong too. But this has sank to a new level of low that disgusts me. I don't know if I will ever be able to vote for a Democrat again and I am a currently a registered Democrat.

I agree. Time to #WalkAway.

The supreme Court does not need a member who acted like a drunken thug in high school. Not to take away from his professional accomplishments but the supreme Court is unrealistic for a person with that type of mistake.

BK, by his own admissions through speeches and high school yearbook page (not general GP pages, his page) and evidenced by the crowd he ran with was a sexist jerk that lived to get blackout drunk and take advantage of young women. The New Yorker story rings true, everyone knew jerks like that and it fits his college profile as a asshat that drank too much and denegrated women to make himself feel better that no one was attracted to him. He is essentially O’Bannon from Dazed and Confused.

He has not admitted this in the context of his hearings, he has denied that the sky is blue when he could have just said, poor judgement, youthful indiscretions, yada, yada, yada.

All I can say as a woman of his generation is that he is clearly one of those frat boys that give frat boys a bad name. The ones your girlfriends warned you not to let them corner you at a party.

The fact that he has excellent legal credentials for the far right crowd does not mean that his moral compass doesn’t matter. It should matter to them too.

1 If you believe this, then you have no self-worth. You let”pop culture”form your moral base not family and God.Back when men were raised to be men not metrosexual effeminate beta males,we treated women with respect like we would treat our mother.

2 We did not treat women like one of the boys, unlike your generation.Sadly you feminists destroyed that for “equality”.Ladies are not one of the boys;of course with beta males wearing skinny jeans and beta male buns its hard to tell the difference.

3 ln 50yrs feminists and secularists removing God;morals, ethics, standards have done a fine job destroying the country. lt will takes years to fix it, if it possible at all

Ridiculous. If you are a woman surely similar incidents have happened to you? I can't even count the number of inappropriate and scary things that happened to me as a young woman. You really find this so hard to believe? That a privileged young partier thought he could do these things and it would be no big deal? It was just "rough horseplay", not like he raped someone. Right?

The only scary thing that happened to me was a sexual molestation at 13, and I told someone immediately. I was trapped in the man's house 3000 miles from home (visiting a family friend). He said his religion made me fair game when I said I was only 13. Other than that? Afraid not.

And even WITH that molestation, I do NOT believe these women simply because of my experience. That would be a highly illogical leap and would amount to an emotional smearing of an individual man's reputation. I DO now understand that certain religions look at women differently than others. Not every man, however, of that religious persuasion, would make the same decision my molester did.

That's horrible. I am sorry it happened to you.

Despite the weirdly dismissive tone of your post, surely you understand that we have an epidemic of sexual assault in this country. In this world. Not just against women and girls, but also against boys and even 3% of men.

I don't know you but your cavalier attitude towards what Ford said and even what happened to you strikes me as very odd. Almost like you don't want to believe that what happened to you happens all the time.

I know it happened. I don’t believe in painting all men in the same light. End of

GOP gaslighting is full on.

Yesterday Michael Avenatti tweeted the following at 7:33pm:

https://twitter.com/MichaelAvenatti/status/1044006928416825344

I represent a woman with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn.

And "My client is not Deborah Ramirez." at 7:59pm...

Then Mike Davis and him exchanged emails:

Then Avenatti tweeted:

Brett Kavanaugh must also be asked about this entry in his yearbook: "FFFFFFFourth of July." We believe that this stands for: Find them, French them, Feel them, Finger them, F*ck them, Forget them. As well as the term "Devil's Triangle." Perhaps Sen. Grassley can ask him. #Basta

Today Avenatti posted the following email exchange bewteen Mike Davis and Avenatti:

Is Mike Davis stupid? He is not; so why is he acting like he does not understand what Avenatti tweeted and wrote even though he has quoted Avenatti's tweets? Farrow & Meyer reporting says GOP knew about some of these allegations. In addition, Grassley is trying to accuse the Democrats for the mess they created. Why did they not vet Kavanaugh themselves? Why did thee hide 90% of Kavanaugh's records? What is in those records that they do not want public to see?

This is pure gaslighting and I am surprised that intelligent conservatives see nothing wrong with this process or slimy enough to cheer this.

According to this article, Sean Davis is being told that Heather Sawyer, a staffer for Feinstein is the person who leaked the letter from Ford.
IF this is true, and that is a big IF, she should be investigated and if she did, should be fired. Feinstein should be investigated as well.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/36228/name-emerges-feinstein-staffer-thought-have-leaked-ryan-saavedra

A staff member for Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is thought to have been responsible for leaking Christie Blasey Ford's allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, according to a Washington insider.

In a tweet, The Federalist's Sean Davis wrote that "according to multiple sources familiar with Judiciary's Kavanaugh investigation, Feinstein staffer Heather Sawyer leaked Ford’s letter to the media in violation of Senate Rule 29(5)."
