Nope and nope. Its Harris.
Not sure, actually.

Absolutley sure. I TOLD YOU LOSERS!!!

There's only one way a Senate seat will open up for Bass in California.

What a psycho. Diane Feinstein is a 1000 years old.

Diane was just re-elected in 2018. She doesn't come up again til 2025. I mean unless you're saying she's going to die very soon. Are you predicting the Senators death and suggesting that Biden knows exactly when she'll die to push Bass into the seat?

I don't think the letter did anything but probably lose a lot of voters in the Midwest who were appalled at the racist and misogynistic treatment of Whitmer. It was unnecessary and hurts the campaign, and hurts relationships between key constituencies in the Democratic party. He should have picked Harris at the beginning instead of tearing apart the party like this. It will cost him.

Was hoping for Rice, but Harris will do. Think Demings would have been the more powerful pick electorally. Glad he is picking a black woman. Would have been courting disaster not to.

I think Diane Feinstein would love to retire in a cabinet position. It happens quite a lot.

Oh, why does a call to Bass indicate Harris?

Because the two main black female candidates were Bass and Harris. Rice was Joe's first attempt to not pick one of them. Whitmer was his second attempt. Neither trial balloon picked up steam and there was backlash against the Whitmer idea which brought us back to Bass and Harris.

At 87? And knowing how f'd over all the Cabinet positions are after a Trump administration and how much work that'll be to rectify? Try again lol.

While I think the letter was overdone and borderline offensive nobody but the diehards and insiders paid attention to it. And to the insiders it was a definite flexing power move that was successful.

People tried to give Biden space, but when it looked like he didn't know what the hell he was doing, they felt a need to intervene. It was a mistake to drag all these candidates through weeks of speculation.

Don't feel that bad for Whitmer though. She was obnoxiously ambitious at the wrong time and got burnt a little. The "racism is a public health crisis" press conference was ridiculous and shameless given the candidates she was trying to elbow past.

I'm glad - who needs the Midwest? Not Biden.
